Ok, here's the flip side. For me the stories just gave you the surface of each character. As good as the story is I wanted more. The stories though they had a beginning middle and end seemed rushed to me, as if it it could have had more. These were good and sweet. I don't mind sweet but in an MC story I also want some turmoil, a lil violence. But that's just me. You may have a different take.
I REALLY liked this first book in the Ghost Riders MC series!
I LOVED that this story was a role reversal of sorts; with the heroine (Cas) being the one in the MC, instead of the Hero (Vincent). Even better was the fact that Vincent was still able to remain all alphalicious while riding b**** on his woman's bike!
Cas was incredibly kick a**. Sergeant-at-arms for the Ghost Riders, Master sniper, sexy woman, confident without coming across as too cocky... Yea, she was a total keeper. I especially loved that she was NOT a doormat heroine! #GetItGirl
And her man... Well, he was a dream come true who was willing to do ANYTHING for Cas. Have an STD? He was willing to catch it. Meet her biker friends? He was first in line. Become an "old man" while others were smirking & snorting at him? He didn't give a f***. Risk his job to keep Cas out of jail? No doubt about it. Please his woman 24/7? C'mon... Is that even a question for a Alexa Riley Hero? ;) Vincent was all sorts of awesome... even if I'm not a hairy chest lover.
On to book two in the series, Beauty and the Biker! Can't wait to see how fast the panties drop for Abe!!
*Beauty and the Biker*
Double the heartbreak with this one. And it hurt... big time. I was sad that Abe had to go through what he did but I felt more for Julie. She got ditched... horribly & humiliatingly... both times. To be treated that way by not only Abe but a couple of other Ghost Riders totally sucked. Lucky for Abe, Julie is a forgiving kind of girl. Really wish that Abe would've had to do a bit more groveling to get in Julie's good graces but I understand why she gave in so quickly.
Looking forward to the next book in this series, Letting Her Lead. Can't wait to see what the future holds for Lucias! :)
*Letting Her Lead*
This is my favorite book in the series so far! Loved Lucias. Loved Izzy. Adored them together.
Lucias was one incredibly delicious Alpha male; possessive, sexy, determined & BONUS... He was so gentle & let Izzy still be an independent woman after they got together. Loved that he got Ham as an excuse to get closer to her!
Totally fell for Izzy & her adorkable personality. Her last name, her t-shirts, her love of Warcraft... And when Lucias caught her & Scribe playing the computer game... so stinkin' cute.
Can't wait to get my hands on the next book in this series, Pulling His Trigger. Gotta find out what secret Mac thinks she's been keeping from Vincent! :)
*Pulling His Trigger*
Vincent & Mac were totally on fire once again! Lots of hot sex, lots of Alpha steaminess (from both of them), adorable surprises from Vincent, bad a** moves made by Mac... It was a great conclusion to their story!!
Very much looking forward to reading the last book in the Ghost Rider series, Riding Him. I've just gotta know more about Scribe! :)
I liked this one but it took a tiny bit too long to warm up for me. Scribe & Violet were great together. Their sexy scenes were on fire but Scribe's charm, filthy mouth & humor were what won me over! Changing her Facebook status & canceling her doctor appointments... LOVED it!
Sad to see the series end but LOVE that all of the members got their happily ever afters. :)
The series follows four friends: Cas, Savage, Pres, and Knox. The friends didn't have good home lives, so at the age of 18 they enlisted. They met and became a family. When Savage is injured and is discharged, the rest follow. The team joins Pres's late father's club, and improves it.
Though there is some conflict, the main plot of the series is the friends finding love and family outside the MC.
Fun read, well-written, likeable characters (Cas is a total bad a**). Recommended Read
There were 5 stories in the book and I loved each and every one of them. I liked watching these big, tough and sometime dangerous men be brought their knees when they meet their woman.
I loved the loyalty the men showed their woman and their club. It truly was like a family.
I would recommend this MC series to anyone!!
I love the MC books and these are on fire. I just love every one of them. AMAZING five stories that will keep you hooked from the beginning till the end. The characters, the couples, the plot every little thing is awesome! Definitely recommend this to everyone!!!
