I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I was hoping for details about how people had lived in these towns. But it was more about generalities. I watched it once. That was enough.

It seems like 3 separate ghost town programs were put on this one DVD, so, Bodie shows up on all 3 episodes. The first feature covers early settlers and the gold rush. Sutter's Mill is explored. It's a good DVD if you want about places you want to visit, but of course you'd have to turn to the internet for current information. Coloma, Grass Valley, Murphy's, Virginia City, Sutro, Buckskin Joe, Lake City, Bannack, Vulture City, Mogollon and other tidbits are included. A very intriguing subject worthy of a new documentary. This one seems like it was made in the 1980's.
