Product Description

Ghostboy and the Nameless Grave is an interactive children's book in which your child gets to make choices in the story and solve basic reading and writing puzzles that help advance the adventure.

Your child chooses an avatar and a name, and becomes ghostboy's best friend. The goal is to help Tristan (soon to be ghostboy) uncover the mystery of the little ghost girl. Why is she haunting Tristan on his birthday? How did she become a ghost? The answers lie within four illustrated chapters, and a secret epilogue which will be unlocked for those who solve all the puzzles.

As your child explores a town full of mysteries on the night before Halloween, their choices affect how the story unfolds, and only the most curious will achieve the maximum score. Did they miss something? They can always retrace their steps to find that detail they overlooked.

Ghostboy and the Nameless Grave is perfect for children who are established early readers. So if you are looking for a fun way to share the joy of reading with your kids, or if you are looking for a way for early readers to explore interactive fiction, then the haunting world of Ghostboy is for you.

my daughter was ill so on the way to the doctor, she read the book and played the game. she is eight. then in the waiting room, she read and played more. then after the exam she continued. at the pharmacy, she asked to ride in the shopping cart to keep reading. then resumed in the car on the way home... once she sat down at home her 10-y.o. brother got interested and then started his own file and is reading whenever my kindle is available.

i give 4 stars due to lackluster storyline but the kids are engaged, cooperating, solving and learning!

More please!!!

My soon to be 2nd grader loved this book and couldn't put it down. We need more of these now.
Really though it's a great way to get a kid reading. He enjoys reading as it is, but actually woke up in the morning and wanted to read this first thing.
Some of the mini games could have been made better; however, the story is interesting and involving.

My daughter does not like to read so I've been searching for something to spark her interest. She loves that the book is interactive with challenges & says the story itself is also very good because of the mysteries & profecies. She asks me to read it each day. I don't have to make her do reading time. Love this!

This is a great book. My second grader loves it and wants more. It's a lot of fun.
The reason why I gave it only 4 stars is that I wish the text was a little better quality. I understand it's not great literature, but I don't think that only the fun factor should be taken into consideration. That said, I'd buy #2 in a heartbeat!

I bought this to share with my grandchildren but I enjoyed playing with it myself. The story-line is good, early readers can manage it, it encourages reading because of course you have to find all the possible endings! I look forward to more by this author.
