Ghost Busters: The Video Game PC
Ghostbusters: The Video Game, based on the smash hit motion picture franchise and featuring a completely new story, is coming to six game systems in 2009. Coinciding with the 25th anniversary celebration of the film’s original theatrical release, the game reunites original cast members to recapture the unique blend of humour and fright that established Ghostbusters as a pop culture sensation. Remember, don't cross the streams. It could end all life as we know it!

The few flaws I noticed could've been just because of me using a laptop computer and not meeting ALL the requirements for the best experience (had to set a few things on low for it to run right, but that's not the game's fault). Despite that I was still able to play, and enjoy the story.
Sometimes the AI of the Busters was a bit annoying/glitch, but it really wasn't much of a problem till the last level and a scenario where you got practically dog-piled by ghosts and possessed statues. Then the computer controls and teammate AI came together for a very frustrating experience... but after a while I was able to overcome.
But in the end I had a blast.
The controls are a little odd, but I got used to them quite quickly. I'd expect that even a "casual gamer" would be able to get used to the controls quite quickly as well.
My PC is running 4-5 year old hardware, and this game still looks good, and ran really well. I only had one part in the game where it started to lag a little bit, and that wasn't bad, and lasted for about 4-5 seconds.
If you love the Ghostbusters, you can NOT go wrong with this game. It will put a smile on your face a mile wide!
First their is no save option, the game like many console games uses checkpoints. The problem with this is the game never informs you when you reach one, So your best bet is to play until you hit a load screen if you want a break. What makes this worse is the fact that the saves seem broken. I have saved at certain points and when I come back the game will skip an entire cut scene and toss you into the next mission. Very frustrating and takes away from an otherwise great game. And finally to top it off, you can not load the game from previous save points, it will only let you load from the last save point you made it to.
Some have made issues of the controls, but I really did not have any issues with targeting or trapping ghosts once you learn how. Also sadly it's worth noting that unless it unlocked after you complete the game, the pc version has no multiplayer like the console version.
Overall a fun game (about 8-10 hours) but it suffers from a poor port from the consoles. :(
Update: This game is GREAT!!! I'm just about past the middle stage (I think) and let me tell you this is entertaining! I set the graphics pretty low and even at that they look great!! It plays much better that at higher settings so I'm able to enjoy it more. Great story line so far! Very addictive because it's a cointinuing story and you have to complete levels to get to the next segment. I think that on replay, one might spend more time exploring so I don't think that it'll get too boring to play over. Just don't listen to all those nay-sayers about this game. If you install it "Easy" rather than "Custom" you'll be just fine. Works great on Windows 7 Professional (32 and 64 bit). My PC isn't a gaming PC so it just has a relatively standard video chipset. Keeping the graphic and resolution setting low seems to work best for me but someone with a better video card would definitely enjoy bumping the setting up. A kind of simple game but challenging enough to entertain. There's even room for a little "out-of-the-box" thinking in the gameplay as you can blast just about any object and in some cases it helps to get past some obstacles faster! You gotta try it!!!!!
