About the Author
As an entrepreneur, he has more than twenty companies, a dozen of which he actively manages. At present, the companies he founded or partnered in have combined annual sales of more than $6 billion a year.
Also of note is Robbins’s marquee philanthropy, which spans more than three and a half decades of serving those forgotten by society—children, the imprisoned, and the homeless. He is responsible for feeding more than 42 million people. This year, through his partnership with Feeding America, Robbins has committed to personally provide 50 million meals to those in need, and he is at work to get matching funds to feed 100 million more.
A #1 New York Times bestselling author, he lives in Palm Beach, Florida.

Back to this book. As it is written in a 365 day diary format with a short passage devoting to independent topics, the bondage between individual passages becomes a little bit weak. I agree with a reviewer that this can be a light and interesting reading on journeys. However, accustomed to taking Tony's works as living guides/tool books, I prefer to rate it a three star relatively to the normal five star in praise of Tony's many other great works.
The book is good for reminding you and keeping you on track if you are one to read stuff but not do it unless you have a check list... have the book in a place you get to every day (chunk it...like with your vitamins or coffee) I found Notes From a Friend better and shorter...it gives you the Top 10 Tools of Robbins Philosophy...each about 5 pages long... and a 10 day mental challenge... easier than digesting the longer books (since 90% of the people don't get past chapter 3 of most self help books)
As for the guy with the grudge (he says he isn't bashing...but he has put a review on each and every Tony Robbins book on Amazon stating why Tony is a scammer) he speaks of doing all the Tony Robbins stuff for 8 years... and yet his complaints and reviews show he read it but doesn't appear to have practiced it... plus he talks of coming from love and acceptance... well his reviews don't seem to come across that way...so he may not think he is bashing...but he is. Even Tony says certain things work for certain people...he speaks of what worked for him and what he managed. The self help industry is flush with people looking for the 'magical answer to fix their lives' I myself can say I have not succeeded in many areas due to not taking the time to work with what was in front of me and jumping all around. I have currently stopped that and am sticking with what is in front of me... giving it a good 6 months of work to see if it is for me...then and only then will I move onto something else. Take what works and leave the rest.
Good one-liners and more quotations from Tony with actual exercises to get you moving.
practice a new idea each day. If you can stay
focused(And its hard with so many good ideas! )
This book will do wonders for you.
It's the ultimate "Brain Vitamin" because it
strengthens your self-esteem, and gives you
the empowerment to do anything!!
In times when I feel that I am losing the plot I carry this with me daily and read the short and concise jolters. I am reminded that I can control how I feel and how my life progresses.
Anthony Robbins has produced a very meaninful and important tool to assist you with your journey of life. Buy it and use it to assist you in taking your life to where you want to go.
Because of my busy life, I do not always get a chance to read the boo each day. Here is a tip for those of you who decide to get the book. Each time I read one of the lessons, I write down the date on the page. This helps me determine if I have been slacking. Like Anthony Robbins says, it is not what you do in any particular day but what you do consistently that allows for progression.
