I found the casters and rear wheels to be fine for the intended purpose of this cart. (The Di Yer) If I decide to take this cart off road I'll consider changing the wheels. For the size of this cart the metal used in the construction of ample substance to make the cart rigid and seemingly durable. This cart is perfect for someone with a small welder and gas bottle. As you can see by the pictures, I have the gas bottle with my setup. I have no doubt that without the gas bottle on the back the cart, the cart would sometime in the future tip over forward.
This cart should not be used with anything over a 40 cu/ft bottle, anything larger would, in my humble opinion make the cart tipsy from side to side.
As in another review, if you own the Drico MIG 150D This is not the cart for you. Too small.
The shelves should be a couple inches longer, pushing the back plate towards the rear of the cart. You would still have room for the 40 cu/ft gas bottle while decreasing the front heavy nature of the cart without the the gas bottle.
Being someone with back troubles, I found the cart to be just a few inches to short.
The nuts and bolts are cheep and tend to strip.
The instructions would have you insert the bolts for the casters from the top down. Don't! I did as the instructions indicated and only after tightening (and of course this is where one stripped) did I find out that this pulled the bolt shafts down far enough to obstruct the swivel actuation of the casters. Insert them from the bottom up, this cures this issue.
I intend to order a new cart and put this one out front of my house for sale. It doesn't quite fit my needs, but could be a great cart for someone with a smaller setup then mine.
