The Gift of Invitation is a perfect resource for individuals or groups looking for an uplifting and faithful template for study and guided reflection and conversation. Accept Allison Gingras' invitation to journey ever deeper into the gift of sacred Scripture and find your heart longing for more!
--Lisa M. Hendey, founder of CatholicMom.com and author of The Grace of Yes
You are being invited to something extraordinary, something that's truly a gift and an opportunity. Allison Gingras has compiled more than a Bible study and more than a nice book: She has been inspired by the Holy Spirit and crafted a journey. This is more than a nice promise or a great selling point: It's a reality. Take her hand and let her lead you closer to Jesus: You won't be sorry!
--Sarah Reinhard, editor of Word by Word: Slowing Down with the Hail Mary
Though at times it may feel like we go through intermittent spurts of growth and focus in our spiritual life, it is daily faithfulness that results in spiritual maturity. If you're involved in bible studies, book clubs, or faith-sharing groups with friends or members of your parish, you have to consider what you are going to do regarding your walk with Christ between the studies. In this brilliant series, Allison Gingras invites you to a more profound encounter with Jesus in those moments when there seems to be a lull in the journey. That quiet time is a particularly good time to nourish your relationship with both the Lord and your sisters in Christ, which will undoubtedly energize you to scale the next peak. You will return to your scheduled studies rejuvenated and with more to share as a result of your faithfulness while "staying connected." This series is a blessing to all women's faith sharing groups! Just think, your faithfulness in the offseason may end up being the key to others spiritual growth when you get back in the game.

Each journal guides you through 7 weeks of Scripture study. Each week is laid out perfectly beginning with a moving opening prayer. Then there’s a real-life section with a reflection on the topic, and an introspective question to ponder.
Following that, we dive into related Scripture passages and an accompanying Scripture reflection. I love this part – it’s so cool to see how all these different verses come together to renew my understanding of how to live the faith in my daily life.
Finish up with some deep reflection questions challenging us to dig in, and opening the door to some amazing discussion topics. And a closing prayer tying everything together and putting the icing on the cake.
The journals are simply gorgeous, with a classic-modern feel. I love the organization: it leads you seamlessly between prayer, reading, and reflecting.
There’s space for journaling, doodling, and coloring. (If you’re into that – which I am, big time!)
All the journals follow the same set-up, so once you get hooked on the first one, you can seamlessly move on to the next, and the next…
