The list of movies is obviously quite subjective. I think it covers a lot of the common "must see" ones, but there also seem to be some more obscure ones on it. I will note that some blocks cover more than 1 movie (like Star Wars - multiple movies go into one scratch-off block). I think this is OK, but it does mean that there are over 100 movies referenced by the poster.
The poster material is very heavy-duty cardstock. It is so thick, in fact, that regular Scotch tape did not work for us in holding it up. It definitely does not feel cheap!

I thought this was a great novelty gift. I purchased for my hard-to-buy-for husband who is quite the movie buff. He has already seen about half, but seemed to find a good deal of satisfaction in being able to immediately scratch some off. He is now up for the challenge to see those that still remain.

This is a pretty cool poster and can be a great conversation starter. I’d give it five stars but it came somewhat damaged. It comes rolled up in a Toblerone-shaped box, and the box itself was fine but upon opening the poster, the corners of it were scratched up and crinkled. Not a huge deal, but definitely disappointing.

I'm extremely disappointed with this product. First it did not come with a scratch tool. So I tried using a guitar pick, but was not strong enough. So switched to a coin. It not only leaves the scratch markings behind but there are times when I had to apply extra pressure to remove the silver and that just damaged the product further. This poster is now completely useless to me. Have stopped scratching off movies and will just toss in the bin.

I love this concept. I missed out on watching so many movies growing up, so my boyfriend and I have created a list of our own, but I thought that this would be fun for the movies that we probably haven't thought of.
I ordered it with the thought of giving it to him as a gift, but it arrived very damaged. The box it was shipped in was damaged and partially open, and the box the poster is in was damaged, which made the poster severely bent in probably 5 or 6 places. Many of the squares were partially scratched as well.
I requested a replacement, which got shipped promptly, but also arrived damaged. It wasn't as badly damaged, but it was bent along the bottom part of the poster and many of the squares were scratched again.
I am keeping the poster, because I do think that it will be fun. However, I will not be giving this as a gift because the bottom 1/4 of it kind of looks like trash.

Packaging was shocking!!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 27, 2018Style: PosterVerified Purchase
I bought this a gift (luckily not for anyone in the household as they would have seen what it was!) and I am shocked by the condition in which it has arrived. Bashed and squashed on all sides and torn on the ends.
I'm not exactly suprised as it wasnt in any other packaging to protect it, and because of that the delivery label has been placed over the box....not exactly great when presenting it as a gift. Very unhappy!

Terrible product

Bought this for my partner's birthday and we're both really disappointed.
The film selection is amazing.
But the foil panels are terrible. They are impossible to scratch. If you manage to remove the foil you are likely to take the image away from the poster.

Regalo davvero originale, consiglio un piccolo trucco...!
Reviewed in Italy on November 22, 2020Style: PosterVerified Purchase
Grazie

Bought this as a gift for my other half. Thought it would be fun to watch the 100 films together. This is a good idea in theory however the silver scratch panels on the poster are rubbish. They're not like the silver scratch panels you get on scratch cards, it seems to be a harder wearing material and you really need to scratch hard to get it off, thus ruining the poster in the process. Plus it turned out between us we'd actually seen pretty much all of the films listed on the poster anyway. Waste of money. Better off making your own list as the novelty factor (the scratch part) ruins the poster completely.

Package was damaged

Package arrived damaged: Poster had lines and marks on it because the packing wasn't safe enough for a poster... As we needed this as a gift, we had no time to order a new one- we couldn't use it as gift and had to buy something completely new.
The poster itself is great, scratching functions (in other posters scratching is not that easy), funny idea. Really a putty, as we ordered from Germany...
