This book is a fantastic source for interesting food gifts! I made several of the recipes last Winter for holiday gifts for neighbors, work associates, and casual friends, and found it difficult to give the food away! I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys preparing creative food gifts!

The content is conveniently separated into sections: Candies & Confections, Baked Gifts, Savories and Canned Gifts. There are also short but very informative sections on equipment you might need, gift wrapping and presentation.

The recipes strike a nice balance between being too plain and too fancy or overly complicated. I especially liked that all kinds of baking goods and candies where well represented: cookies, breads, toffee, praline, caramels, fudge, etc.

The book is small (only about 100 pages) but beautifully illustrated and itself could be a great gift for any cook.
