Mulcahy is obviously a seasoned Gig Economy worker. She has years of experience and draws on engaging anecdotes to bring a picture of the Gig Economy to life. It's not dry, it's not opaque. It's just a really solid read on how to get things done and start making the money you want, taking more time off and doing work that actually matters to you. Great read. I have been a consultant for 15 years and I have lived through this incredible evolution in which companies are now far more interested in finding the best person for the job than just the best person they can find nearby. We have a world of work that is far less constrained by geography.
For young people, in particular, being aware of this new conceptual framework for work is of considerable value.
