An ideal gift or a great addition to a personal collection, this 3-1/2-Inch pair of embroidery scissors combines precise function with a beautiful stork design. The finely crafted scissors have a slender frame, making them ideal for cutting threads, not heavier yarns or fabric. In addition, the scissors feature nickel-plated blades and gold-plated handles. Accessories include a fitted leather sheath for storage. The embroidery scissors measure 1/5 by 1-1/2 by 3-1/2-Inch and carry a limited lifetime warranty.

Top Customer Reviews
I purchased these for myself. I never would have done that if I hadn't received one set as a gift already. It seems like such an extravagance to spend extra for these to be pretty, but honestly? They are also sharper than my other scissors in this size. These scissors will last me years (like my old pair), and I'd definitely buy these for someone else as a gift in the future. Plus, I feel positively decadent every time I use them. Yes, every single time!
However, do be aware of these superstitions: Giving a pair of scissors or knife as a gift is considered bad luck as it said it would cut the friendship in half. To avoid bad luck in the relationship, the gift recipient should give a coin as to "pay" for the gift. It is common for the gift-giver to include a penny, often taped to the blade of the knife, which the gift recipient is to return as "payment".
Scissors or knives should never be given as a wedding gift as this is believed to lead to a broken marriage.
