These little guys work great! I like to install custom Christmas lights every year and that means I buy off the spool and have a lot of splicing that has to stand up the rain and snow we get in the northwest. I use these for the Christmas lights and the same stuff for all my trailer light wiring. Just be sure to check the gauge you need. Be sure to use actual wire crimps and a butane torch works great for shrinking them.

These work pretty good, but you have to figure out where exactly to crimp them at and what it takes to make a good crimp. The heat shrink portion of these are great. They seal tightly around (the heat makes the inside like glue) the wire so there's no worries of it coming apart once heat is applied. Pretty good product over all. I'd recommend if you don't mind wasting a few getting used to them.
