The Pro's:
It works! And for only $20 (as of my purchase), that's pretty amazing for a Bluetooth headset of this (relative) quality.
It syncs easily to the PS Vita (don't be fooled by the packaging that says it is "exclusively" for the PS3...it works fine with the PS Vita).
It is light; easy to wear for a while.
The Con's
This is where my debate comes in...!
I would call the sound quality mediocre at best. When I first heard it, I was thinking 1-star. Then I listened some more and shifted my impression to 2-star for sound. I think perhaps I was expecting too much...or got my hopes up from reading other reviews that said it has "fantastic sound". Honestly, it does not. The sound is "tinny" and even "scratchy" at times. This may partially be true because it is sits outside your ear, so I find myself turning the volume *way* up to hear everything, and in so doing probably hit the limits of the quality of the little speaker.
So in the end I am going with 3 stars, which is a combo of 2-stars for sound quality balanced by 4-stars for Bluetooth headset value. Bottomline, if you want an inexpensive Bluetooth headset that actually works, but you don't mind mediocre sound quality, this is a good choice. If you are like me and just wanted to get a Bluetooth to avoid the hassle of having earbud wires dangling from your ear while playing, be aware you will be sacrificing a lot in sound quality vs. $10 earbuds. I'm afraid I may use this a lot less than hoped because it just doesn't produce the sound I'd like to hear.
P.S. I have not used the mic for live discussions with anyone. I did try using it with the PS Vita "tutorial game" that uses the mic, and the playback sounded awful. But I have no way to know if that was the mic or the game distorting things.
Still, I like it and will continue to use it.

Still, I like it and will continue to use it.
The unit is also VERY light. It weighs almost nothing, so wearing it all day is comfortable. The ear clip also goes almost all the way around the ear, so it stays on well even though it doesn't go into the ear.
The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the speaker muddies up people's voices over a cell phone just a little bit compared to something like the Voyager. This is most likely due to the over-the-ear versus the in-the-ear design, so don't let it stop you from buying it. It is also a rather large earpiece, but it's so light that it isn't an issue, but if you're walking around with it, it won't exactly be hidden.
So if you want a very light, very inexpensive over-the-ear bluetooth headset, this is a great choice. The fact that is also works with the PS3 seamlessly is just a nice bonus.

Two of my daughters play on PS3s and have been wanting to join in the online conversations when playing Minecraft. I wanted to steer clear of the double-ear headphones because when they have those on they can never hear me and they are a little too zoned out! These are ideal because they have an ear free so they still have a foot in the real world.
These are very easy to pair up and the charge lasts quite some time, the charging cable is short and so you can't really charge it and wear it at the same time, but leaving it to charge between gaming sessions means that it has never been flat when needed. The game sounds come through the TV speakers as normal, it's just the conversation which is heard through these, that makes having an ear uncovered even more of an advantage as my daughters can hear both the game sounds and the online chat sounds.
The mix is stubby but picks up their voices well, they are incredibly clear and the actual device is quite small and therefore unobtrusive.
In a nutshell: These budget bluetooth earpieces are perfect for our needs and have had many hours of use. Strongly recommended.
The mic quality seems to be good, I haven't had any complaints at all, which is the main thing. It was very easy to pair with my PS3 and the battery last a good long time. It also charges from the same type of USB cable as the PS3 controllers, which is a nice touch. It's got a mute button on the side, which is well placed, and the volume buttons work nicely.
Unfortunately there's two issues that make this a 3 star review only.
The ear...hook? thing. It does work, but it feels like it's going to fall off my ear at any point. It never has yet, and to be honest if it was going to it would have by now, however it's something that I can't quite feel comfortable with.
The major issue though is with the quality of the earphone sound. It's very tinny and fuzzy, and since the ear-piece sits over your ear rather than in-ear I feel like it needed a more substantial speaker to really be effective. Even at max volume it has issues at times and it seems remarkably adept at playing background noise over voices - I first thought that the people I play with were all using poor microphones (though that's statistically unlikely), but after switching to a different mic headset for a change I realised it was actually the speaker quality of this headset.
So, it's OK, it's a good price and if you run the voice through your TV or whatever and just use it as a bluetooth microphone it's all good.
when i first saw this i thought it was the best fitting headset i have ever seen, as other ones of this price only fit inside your ear.
i usually go ear problems from wearing them for long periods of time.
i thought i would take a leap of faith and give this a try.
not only did it pair to my htc one x first time, but when i was wearing it, kept forgetting i had it on.
on a couple of occasions, i never noticed it until i was sitting down to dinner at home and i might get a call, or taking my tops off and catching it on the headset.
i cant praise this headset enough and will probably purchase a spare to use at home on my computer(which it also paired to with ease when a bluetooth dongle was connected)
give it a try
There is a caveat though; it's pretty much designed for a late-teen/fully grown adult head.
My young son needs to wear a baseball cap on his head while gaming with his friends, as his little peanut sized head is too small for it to stay on comfortably. It's not that much of a problem though as he's convinced himself he's badass because he's wearing a "Spy" comlink.
As always SUPERVISE your children while they're online. Either restrict access completely or only allow chat via their actual friends circle.
The internet is not a place for children to run wild and free.
