The Girl in the Mirror: A Sarah Greene Supernatural Mystery (Sarah Greene Mysteries Book 1) Kindle Edition
Sarah, a reluctant psychic, discovers a ghost in a mirror and opens a door to the demonic.
Sarah Greene is a successful realtor who sees ghosts–and sometimes wishes she didn’t. While renovating an old house with her ex-husband, she finds a mirror haunted by a teenager’s tortured spirit.
As she sets out to discover the victim’s identity, Sarah stumbles onto something chilling.
The people who built the house had a demon-worshipping son, Peter. And Sarah comes to believe he murdered the girl. But there’s more. An insidious evil is infesting the town of Dos Santos. Could this dark force be tied to Peter Moody?
For Sarah, digging into someone’s murderous past is bad enough. Awakening a demonic spirit could be deadly.

What Amazon Readers Are Saying
★★★★★ “I would liken this author’s writing ability, and his ability to tell and absorbing tale, to King’s. He’s that good.”
★★★★★ “Will revenge, old hurts, and insanity win out? You’ll just have to read this great book to find out! DEFINITELY recommended.”
★★★★★ “I read it fast. I couldn’t put it down. I will be waiting for the next one.”
The Girl in the Mirror is a well-paced paranormal mystery that delivers chills, laughs, and romance all in one go, and gives the reader a heroine to root for. The character of Sarah begins as a woman unsure if her choices in life are the right ones, but through her trials she becomes stronger and more confident in herself and her abilities. Ramirez delivers highly readable prose that is both funny and unnerving when it intends to be. --The BookLife Prize
The Girl In The Mirror is a spooky, supernatural thriller. The first page drew me into the story and kept me there until the end, with the suspense building on each page. Each of the main characters has been very well developed throughout the story, but I suspect that we will learn more about them in future books in the series. This is a well-paced story, with plenty of action and a great plot with lots of twists and turns that keep you hooked on the story. --Readers' Favorite

But the author isn't content with a simple ghost story. There are fun twists and unexpected turns, great characters, and a much-appreciated atmospheric tension (I'm a sucker for an atmosphere that is so pronounced it's practically its own character).
Set in a spooky small town in California, Sarah Greene and her ex-husband, Joe, own a realty and building company: Joe flips the houses with his crew and Sarah sells them. But when the couple discovers a strange antique mirror in the basement of their most recent purchase, a creepy, deserted home out in the country, strange things begin to happen.
This is a hard-to-put-down novel. I'm looking forward to following it up with, House of the Shrieking Woman, book two in the Sarah Greene Mysteries.
But there’s another side to their tale. Sarah has a gift––of the occult kind. Ever since her best friend was killed back in high school she has been able to see ghosts. Ghosts that soon help her find answers to an old, unsolved murder case. A bad one. As we learn more and more about this double homicide cold case, Sarah pulls us along with her after she sees a ghost in an antique mirror. From there we’re driven headlong into an action-packed chase to find the real killer, the people involved at the time, and the victims, both in real modern time, and through paranormal means. Will revenge, old hurts, and insanity win out? You’ll just have to read this great book to find out! DEFINITELY recommended.
