My favorite character was Vivian, who happened to be the elder patriarch's girlfriend. All suspicion is thrown her way by the family and after Charlie interviews her, a different dynamic is thrown into the story. Vivian (and I couldn't help picturing Richard Gere yelling for Vivian in "Pretty Woman") and Charlie make a great team! It would be nice inserting her in a book somewhere (what do you think?).
In short, this novel is 1, 2, 3....Homerun! Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy. I read it right away! And, not disappointed.
Her new client brought with her a bag full of unexpected family drama and the death of the family patriarch. It’s a who done it but with lots of false leads to get you to suspect one of the family members. The problem is that it’s so well written that you suspect all of them.
I am about to purchase the 3rd installment of the Charlotte Winters mysteries. “Watch Her Sleep.” I’m counting on it being on par with this one.

Charlie Winters, a PI, is investigating the death of a billionaire but things become very complex when she meets his bizarre group of adult children.
As with this writing duo there are always plenty of twists and turns to keep your interest and to keep you guessing “whodunnit”.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good murder/ mystery.
