I just got this helmet last Wednesday but on my usual Saturday morning ride. I had a small miss calculation and had an unfortunate fall. I was riding a little to fast when I stumbled, i roll to the floor and did felt a slight nudge from the back of my head as i hit the ground. My head is ok, didn’t hurt at all. The only thing hurt was my ego as i fell in a intersection where vehicles are on stop at a redlight. Everyone was looking at me but it’s all good. I was glad i had an helmet on when I experienced my first crash. Helmet did it’s job, i am ok except a little scratches at the back of the helmet. I would definitely buy another giro in the future.

This helmet is really great! I was looking to upgrade my old helmet to something with more airflow. This helmet hit the mark. I’m pretty new to road cycling (only been cycling for a year), but my cycling friends informed me Giro is a trusted brand. This helmet is lightweight, fits comfortably, allows wonderful airflow (seriously anything might be an improvement from my old helmet, it was THAT bad), and it was a great price. Can’t speak on it’s durability, and honestly, I hope I never have to.

I already had a Giro Revel and they are nearly identical in shape, weight, padding, price, and branding (the Revel has a visor & the Trinity does not). The Trinity has a better overall fit. I wear a liner because I shave my head, but ventilation is not an issue. I expected nearly all black, but there are subtle stripes from front back. Giro makes up most of my kit: helmet, gloves, and shoes. None are expensive but it is all durable and comfortable.

I bought this to replace an old-school helmet that I've had for way, way too many years really. This one is so much more comfortable, that once I got it adjusted right, I was barely aware that I had it on.

I found it easy to adjust, both straps and headband, and no problem still wearing my cycling pair of sunglasses. My hat size is about 7-1/2 to 7-3/4 and there is lots of adjustment leeway both up and down for the headband. The straps are easy to adjust. Nice looking and well finished.

I recommend it.

Proved itself less than a week after I bought it. I started biking to the train station about 2 miles from my home. The Friday of the first week I did that I got hit by a car and thrown clean off the bike, fractured ankle and all. The only part of my body that wasn't a little scuffed or affected was my head, I felt it hit against the pavement but it felt like landing on a soft pillow. This helmet worked really really well! It's also comfortable and easy to adjust.

The only downside is the neck straps, they're a little finnecky and don't always stay the length you set them too, Have to keep re-adjusting them, so shaving off a star because of that alone.

I wanted a low-key type helmet that is not bulky looking or bulky to wear. After looking at many different brands, colors, shapes, etc, I decided on this. I already have a helmet (Schwinn brand) but I was never comfortable wearing it and I also don't like how it looked on me.
So, for this Giro helmet, I love it! It fits my head just right, feels lightweight, feels cooler to wear due to the 22 holes, and the shape is more on the round side (with no visor like in front or tail like at the end) but without the extra bulk.
