No one but NO one does political cartooning with the skill, wit, and sheer artistry of Michael Ramirez. This collection of recent cartoons will remind you of topical issues that have been pushed out of the limelight (in some cases deliberately) but remain unresolved. Ramirez has the rare gift of being able to make you laugh, wince, and think at the same time. He is a national treasure and this book is a delight!

Ramirez is a remarkable artist, and the small images of his daily artworks in the daily paper don't do justice to his skills. This book has a nice set of excellent drawings that are printed large enough and well enough to show all the details. Michaels genius isn't a simple cartoon like many other op ed artists, but he has little messages sprinkled throughout his drawings. Beautiful book, fun read.

Michael Ramirez has a way of cutting through everything and getting his point across in one picture and (sometimes) a caption. No wonder why the guy won two Pulitzers. This book is could be called an American's guide to political idiocy--> Ramirez takes no prisoners in this comprehensive cartoon commentary of the past six and half years. I would get this book ASAP, if you don't you are really depriving yourself. Buy it in hardcover because you will want to read it over and over!

A picture is worth many more than a thousand words. The most skilled orators could not drive home the message as well as a single Michael Ramirez cartoon. He has already won two Pulitzers in an environment that does not generally reward people of his political persuasion, one need not read many of these pages to understand why. Ramirez is greatly gifted, and this book is another gift to us. Thank you, Mr. Ramirez.

I thought I had seen all the cartoons and bought the book since the first one was so good. I came to find that more than half of the cartoons were new to me and I keep up with Investor business daily. It was a long wait but well worth it and I have no idea how Michael come up with the brilliant and right on the mark hits with his work. I am hoping hillary gets arrested and joe biden gets in so Michael and the other cartoonists can have a hay day. Great work Michael!

Beautifully illustrated with creative conservative humor, this is no book for a liberal, progressive, or left-leaning Democrat. The drawing transcends brilliant and some cartoons are thought-provoking, leaving the reader to try and discern the message from the artwork. It is rare when a cartoonist can express logical political thought through drawing, but Michael Ramirez seems to have been born with the gift.
