This book is about loss and acceptance. The heroine Victoria (Tori) Larkin has been through so much heartache and loss at such a tender age. Her heart was broken and as a direct result, she became the ‘Ice Queen.’ However after a blow up at work she sent to grief counselling.

Through the grief counselling she meets Chase, an enigmatic character who runs a grief support group. He makes it his mission to get to know Tori a lot better. He integrates himself into her life.

He however has his own inner demons, he focuses on helping Tori through hers and she helps him in her own way get through his.
My heart was so invested in this story right from the beginning. Chapter after chapter, had my heart racing in anticipation of what was going to happen next.

I swooned with Tori, cried with them both as they worked through their grief. I felt each and every emotion possible. I honestly do not recommend you read this book without tissues. Yes I know I scared you for a second then! Haha! Seriously, tissues, not one box, ten would be better.
I will keep this review short as I refuse to spoil it for anyone but essentially, it is an ugly cry, it will make you feel and I promise you it will stay with you for a long time.

The twist in the book had me in shock and I never saw it coming, it was not what I expected at all but it worked with the story and for me made the ending that much more special.

Both of the lovely authors have penned an amazing story and I will treasure this little gem forever!

This is my first book from them both, but it will not be my last.

Ladies and Gents (if you like romance) please pick this up, read and treasure each word..

5 AMAZING stars!!

5 Beautiful Stars!!!

“There is no option number three. When it came to passing out happiness, apparently my bucket was already too full of misery. Only this time, this time I opened myself up so much that I don’t know how to close the wounds again. There is a searing fire that is down deep in the depths of me, breaking me beyond recognition.”

Ever since I read Erased by K.Webster and Elle Christensen, I have been dying for the two of them to work together again. Their writing is like magic. It sucks you and captivates you. It makes you feel and truly experience the words written on the pages. So, when I heard about Give Me Yesterday, I was like sign me up please! I had to read it! I had to know if the two of them would make magic again, and they did.

Give Me Yesterday pulled me in from the very first page. That prologue. Oh, my goodness; that prologue. I made two pages in and knew I was about to read something amazing. In matter of minutes, my heart was completely broken. ” I want to ask where the third casket is. I can’t live without a heart, right? And yet, here I am, breathing without them.” My heart ached for Victoria and I could not wait to read more.

Victoria is a shell of the woman she used to be. She is ruthless, heartless and never lets anyone get close to her. Until one day, she breaks and her boss forces her into grief counselling. At first she mocks it. She just wants to get it over with and get back to her life. But then she meets Chase and all bets are off. {“I don’t have a pet fish. But, I do struggle everyday, just like you do–and everyone else in here for that matter. Wishing for God to give me yesterday. To find a way to change the past and to breathe life back into those that were lost.

This may be one of the more difficult reviews I've ever written. It's been said that my heart is hard, but in reality, it's scarred. Give Me Yesterday broke it wide open. I cried, buckets of ugly, nasty, snot ridden tears! Yes, this happened more than once. I almost felt the need to find the authors online (in the middle of the night, no less) and send scathing messages about how broken my heart was, but I refrained.

The story of Victoria and Chase is gut wrenching, heart breaking, heart warming, amazing and gives me hope!

High powered divorce lawyer, Victoria Larkin, is known as the ice queen. Tough. Emotionless. What they don’t know, is that ten years ago, she lost everything. Including her hope for the future. Chase Monroe struggles with his own demons. Devastated by guilt and on a mission to correct his past, he uses his skills as a college psychology professor to help others move beyond their grief.

When these two meet it's like an explosion happens. An explosion of feels, love, light, laughter and more has entered both of their worlds for the first time in a long time. The path traveled is not one of simplistic or idealistic views. It's one of two grief stricken individuals who are learning to live again - together!

Feels! Oh the feels! For this book, I would flail about, shout it from the roof top and more! But first, I need a cold pack to reduce the swelling from my face from all the crying!

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book. Never in a million years did I think that my heart would be left with the words THE END. All I’m waiting on now is for Blake Shelton to come and announce duo of the year. I usually shy away from the books that may rip my heart out, but when it comes to K. Webster and Elle Christensen I just grab the biggest bottle of wine and settle in for a book that will rock my world. I started the Prologue and thought these bitches are going to shred me then slowly put me back together. The sick thing about it, I couldn’t wait for it to happen.

Chase was the guy we all dream about but always seems out of reach. I love the reformed playboys who get their balls handed to them when they finally meet the girl of their dreams. Chase didn’t disappoint. He went after Tori knowing that she was it for him. Relentless in his approach to shatter every wall guarding her heart.

For ten years Tori has been existing - not really living a life. As much as I understood the cold-hearted woman she’d become, I loved seeing life breathed back into her with each page turned. Watching her unravel to the person she used to be and rooting her on to be the person you wanted to see.

Books like these are the reason why I read. The reason why I get lost inside of another world completely oblivious to anything on the outside. You don’t ever expect that a book will speak to you and draw you in and never let you go. It’s not too often you come across a book that is good, but has a message that people will relate to. K. Webster and Elle Christensen just have a way with words that they just seem to blend into this world that is painted full of color.
