Ken Boa assembled a set of well constructed arguments to explain and defend the Protestant Christian faith. They really are well thought through. The problem is that few people who do not already hold that faith are really interested in this kind of a rational approach. Thus, this book is more useful for reinforcing what the Protestant Christian already believes than for persuading somebody else of its veracity.

This text helped me be much better able to:
1. Listen to the thought process of others who are wondering about the validity of Christianity.
2. Reply relevantly, if and when I was asked a question or two (Hence, the title, "I'm Glad You Asked," in accordance with 1st Peter 3:15).
3. Consolidate my understanding and faith previously derived from reading The Bible/listening to preaching/other study processes/etc.
I have handed out 10 copies to friends and acqaintances who I thought m-i-g-h-t gain similar benefits.
This is the only flow charted logic I have ever come across of Reformed Christian doctrine.
And, yes, the author does effectively address the classic question of "If there is 'a god,' why is there <suffering> <evil>?"
The flow charts are inter-related/coordinated, while structured to prepare the reader to be able to present the Gospel message in a timely, respectful, and understandable fashion for His glory :- ).

This order was received quickly and in great condition and although I have just started reading it, the few chapters that I have gotten through are superb. This is a must have resource for any library be it either scholar or lay person.

This is the most helpful resource I've found for responding to questions about faith and Christianity. The authors examine the major questions of life, exploring and evaluating the Christianity in relation to other worldviews and religions. It provides a very well-reasoned and rational Biblical defense supported by documented historical and scientific facts.

I was surprised at how difficult the explanations were, making the book unnecessarily long.

classic formulation of the questions asked by everyone, with a logic decision tree most informed laymen can understand, will stand the test of time
