I had heard this song a few times on XM radio and honestly had no idea that the band was actually 5 different vocalists. To me, this song almost sounded like something Blur would release and re-mix. The lyrics can be interpreted a few different ways but I do find myself getting hooked by its catchy beat and simple lyrics. So...I decided to check the band out on youtube. Wow, I am almost ashamed to admit that as a 35 year old hetero male that I still liked this song after seeing this band. Not realizing that they are supposed to be the next boy band, along with One Direction, I got a feeling that we will be hearing from both groups for some time. I did listen to the other samples that Amazon has posted for The Wanted, and I have admit that I probably won't buy the rest of the album because it doesn't suit my tastes. My opinion is that the Wanted is way better than One Direction, however, in terms of vocal quality.

Now, for my one star rating for live performance, I watched 5 or 6 random live performances on youtube and these guys seriously need a choreographer, fast. I have seen better choreography in a kindergarten Christmas concert, especially if they want more than their voices to bring them success in the USA. Would be a shame to see this group not go on because they are missing a convincing stage presence.

"Glad You Came" has such a unique sound, and gets you moving! I really enjoy the fact the song is from Europe because I think it provides a one of a kind sound, and is refreshing. One of the better songs I've heard lately!

Originally purchased because for the debut song but even happier with the rest of the album.
They have an older sound to them. It reminds me when groups actually made music by harmonizing with each other instead of auto-tune or speech songs.

The Wanted is a really cool and different band. Yes, they are VERY pop, but that doesn't mean they're bad!
I am always hearing my friends compare them to One Direction which I hate. I'm not a 1D fan (sorry, I'm just not) I really don't listen to boy bands at all. But something about The Wanted is different.
Both this song and Chasing the Sun have these lyrics that go really well together. When I say go well together, they rhyme in a weird and cool way. Are the lyrics meaningful? No not really. If you're looking for good meaningful lyrics, you've come to the wrong place. But if you are looking for a great beat and songs that are amazing to sing and dance to, you should definatly buy some The Wanted songs. Fun party songs that make you feel good!

And stop comparing them to 1D!!!!

Sure, the lyrics aren't a fantastic example of poetry and music. But the song has a great beat, is simple and repetitive, and is just the right tempo for running, the elliptical, dancing, or just keeping you going during yoga or toning exercises. It's definitely a song I recommend for having fun!

I am not a clubber, but I really like this song. This song makes me feel way younger than I am, so I only listen to it for my daily workouts and it really gets me moving. If you hate the elliptical or kettle ball this song (and songs like it) can get you through the repetitive spots. Good beat, very catchy and to the point I might ad. I cant wait to take my workout results to beach this summer and listen to this song while I am there!

These guys are legit famous in England and now they're trying to earn their stripes in the U.S. They did a very very short tour hitting a dozen cities in less than a month before starting their arena tour in Europe (which was referred to as The Wanted Arena Tour aka T.W.A.T. for a while - HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THEM?). They played crappy small clubs and they were wonderfully gracious when the American audiences knew the words to their singles (saw them in D.C. and that show delivered)!

This is dancey boy band fun at its best, look for their other stuff and enjoy! Glad to see the single burning up the charts, I can't get enough of it!!
