The Wall GearBox is easy to hang and reposition on Gladiator Wall Systems.
The Wall GearBox features two full-width, adjustable shelves that can be placed in six possible positions to meet your storage needs. Each shelf can hold up to 50 pounds and will easily store tools, gardening supplies, fishing gear, and more. Two tread-plate doors secure your items and provide a streamlined look.
Easy Installation for Immediate Use
The Gladiator GarageWorks Premier 30-Inch Wall GearBox installs quickly and easily using GarageWorks panels or channels or existing wall studs. If you already have the GearWall Panels or the GearTrack Channels in your garage, simply attach the mounting brackets to the cabinet with the included hardware and set the cabinet into place. The cabinet can be repositioned along the tracks as needed.
For other installations, the GearBox comes with four holes pre-drilled at the top and bottom of the cabinet. These holes are spaced eight inches apart, so you can easily find four holes to match the spacing of your garage studs. Once you find an appropriate spot, you will need to secure the unit with washers and lag screws, which are not included.
Durable and Secure
With a protective finish and deep welded steel construction, the Wall GearBox is built to last and will hold up to 200 pounds. For security, each door closes with a magnetic latch that holds the door shut. And thanks to the Gladiator GarageWorks-compatible key, you can also lock the Wall GearBox to keep your tools safe.
Dimensions and Warranty
The Gladiator GarageWorks GAWG302DRG Premier 30-Inch Wall GearBox is 30 inches high by 30 inches wide and 12 inches deep. It is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

For those who may be considering the RTA line of cabinets versus the fully-welded series, I will offer some comparisons. First, there is the convenience of not having to assemble the cabinet on the fully welded version which is nice. However in comparing this unit to the RTA version, the cabinet just feels stronger. I suspect this has more to do with the solid back versus the thin multi-piece back of the RTA unit, but when I picked up this cabinet there was no bending or racking like I have experienced on the RTA version.
I personally cannot tell if the metal used is a different gauge between the two units, but the fully welded version just feels more solid and more up to the task. Once mounted on the wall I realize the differences could go unnoticed, but time will tell how well they stack up against one another.
I also noticed Gladiator inserted small plastic pins to keep the interior shelves in place during shipping, but I can see those being useful to ensure the shelves are never accidentally moved or bumped when the cabinet is in use.
As with most Gladiator products, I really have no complaints about quality or finish, and these cabinets do look great in the garage. Howeever if paying full retail, I still have to argue that they are overpriced for what you get. These cabinets are stamped steel...Read more ›
The cabinet is well constructed, welding is good, dimensionally correct and square.
I disagree with the folks that think the steel is too thin. Its just fine and will hold up well -- anything heavier guage would increase the weight and make it weaker, not stronger-- trust me, I am a 35+ year engineer and have been there, done that.
Mind boggling how the packaging and transport can be so poor to get these levels of denting on such a strong cabinet. Almost looks like a forklift was purposefully run into the package side. I have asked Amazon for compensation so we will see how that goes...
Points off for the very poor packaging and transport.
EDIT: I picked up two more. I have a total of 4 now which has doubled my storage in my first garage when we moved to now at least 4 times the amount of cabinet storage I have!
They are MUCH better than the ones you actually put together yourself that you see in the store and also here that are RTA (ready to assemble). I was not a fan of those at all. They were flimsy, and it was a pain in the butt to put them together and then when they DID go together the joints were not tight. Just overall the amount of money you pay for them was not worth the cost honestly...
This is already pre-assembled and WELDED... key word being fully welded! It's how it should have been from day one.
I am VERY pleased with these.
So much better than the black and decker (compressed saw dust and glue cabinet that I paid around $160 for it at a big box store.. and that is already starting to "sag" because of the humitity...
Overall this is a good buy, wish it was cheaper because at 200 bucks it's not cheap at all!
Good lock, sturdy doors, and feels robust compared to their other model.
One note and I am not bashing Amazon or it's vendors but look at Sears when you want to buy these. You can normally get them on sale for anywhere from $89-109 EACH... Paying close to $250 each that they are currently listed is just crazy and not worth it, ESPECIALLY if you are getting more than one. I bought 4 over the course of abuot 11 months and had I spent this much money it would have been over $1,000... TOO MUCH!
Not knocking anything though, these are nice, and they look nice on the wall. If your garage is finished or setup nicely these will pop!Read more ›
If this bothers you like it does me, secure the cabinet with at least one screw driven through the rear steel panel into a stud (best done at a height to catch both the cabinet's rear panel and supporting bar). This will lock it in place vertically.
If you don't plan on moving your cabinets, a direct mount may be worth considering. You can still butt the cabinets next to each other, but you will have to drill a couple of new holes in the rear panel (easily done) to line up with two studs.
