I also see it very useful when I have my friends from Switzerland and London staying over, the normally bring their computers , phones and all the stuff with their own type of plug.
The part that can be used separately is great, I just place it in the hotel plug and my hotel plug becomes the perfect plug for me!

What differentiates this model? Both are about the same size—perhaps with the Glamfields being a bit larger. However, here, there are much more charging options which is very helpful if you’re traveling with another person. Whereas the competitors only have 2.1A in two USBs, this offers 5A shared between 3 USBs, with a max of 2.4A each—which provides noticeably faster charging. The USB C port is a strange choice because it doesn’t offer PD, and just puts out 5V = 3A, so it won’t charge your Macbook, and your iPad will charge slowly too—but it’s there as a 4th option.
But what really has me replacing my old model with this Glamfields version is the unusually fine touches that I wouldn’t expect in a mass-produced China charger. The sliders have a nice spring loading to them—especially the EU plug which feels almost hydraulic (and this plug is particularly difficult to get out on the Travel Inspira model). The ground on the UK plug is also thoughtful and is spring loaded and snaps into place when you push on it. Big points for that.
Neither this “Glamfields” branded model, nor the competitor are voltage converters. All they do is let you plug into the wall by changing the plug shape from your home country to the local standard where you are visiting. So make sure anything you plug in will work with the voltage of the country (read your labels).
I have tested for functionality (works perfectly out of box), but have not yet traveled with it; and have not tested the fuse. The electronics are relatively simple, so I don’t expect any problems, but will update this review if I have any at all.
TL;DR: this version is a little more expensive, but worth it.

There are two primary styles of travel multi-country adaptors on Amazon (see photos).
