Fun in short bursts, but addictive enough for longer plays

This is one of those surprising little games that might not look like much compared to others of the current generation, but it packs a great deal of fun into a small download size!
Not only is it fun to play with neat-retro graphics and sounds, but there are no in-app purchases! Yahoo, a game that is not created to empty your digital wallet! Can you believe it is possible to make such a thing? You can actually just work your way through the levels and upgrade as you earn enough gold and coins!
Th mini-missions add a little extra incentive to grind away, but a little more variety in them would be appreciated!
I got it as the Free App of the Day, but would have certainly been equally happy if I had spent the small asking price of .99 cents!
Nice little game with fun retro-style graphics. Controls work well and are quite responsive. The only problem is the game uses both "slide" and "charge" for the same action. The control says slide, but then the game keeps telling you to charge through or under things. The tutorial is too fast to read unless you run into everything (which isn't natural after it tells you how to jump etc) and as far as I can tell you can't replay the tutorial to see what you missed.
Sound and music are very good. The graphics are good in that pixelated way, which I think is appropriate but others might not. Overall it's a fun game.
This game is very simple. Two controls (jump and dash) and you run through levels 1-10 with each getting progressively harder. You have power ups that you can acquire that make it easier as you go. The graphics are basic and the music is low key.
I absolutely love this game. I don't have to think or work too hard. It is a great time waster but is easily put down. I love the challenges and I really hope it is updated soon. This is well worth the money and is only one of a handful of games I keep on my Fire.
This game is fun but it could use more. It needs an update with more things and power ups. I do like minecraft ,blocky look.In an update they should add dogs that scare away cats and you need to pick up like a tennis ball that you throw to get rid of the dog. They should also add multiplayer so you can race people. But anyways, this game is fun and I can't wait for updates!!!
This game is fun and easy to pick up. Its progression system is not purely about getting to the highest hazard level, but rather losing at times and then spending your earnings on new abilities to take with you. The mechanics work very well and the game feels polished.
This may very well be one of my favorite mobile games, now. The concept is simple, but the game itself as well as the learning curve of the controls adds a nice buffer of challenge to the experience. (There are even accomplishments to work toward which provide various rewards.) The sound can be a bit loud compared to other apps, so you may need to adjust the volume, but the music and sound effects are pleasant... for an 8bit type game.
