Glenda was a reflexology practitioner in Brisbane Australia from 1999 until the end of 2015. At one stage she was running three clinics. She now focuses on workshops, speaking and mentoring. Glenda Hodge also writes under the pen name of Emma Gilbert.
Glenda's first book, Holistic Reflexology, the eight principles (first published in 2010 and re-published in 2014) discusses her holistic approach to her work. She believes that feet are not sore nor the body in distress to make life unpleasant, they are trying to convey a message about something in a person's life that needs to be addressed.
Wisdom in Retrospect (2014) written under the pen name of her grandmother, Emma Gilbert, was born of the many conversations she has had over the years with her clients. While Glenda uses her own stories as examples in this book, they are merely a way to help the reader remember their own. The book discusses 64 lessons of life that many people would have experienced at some time or other. As you glance back with insight, may you discover wisdom hiding in the shadows.
Journey to the Crown (2016) focuses on the subtle energy fields of the body, and is written to encourage the reader to notice, identify and deal with simple problems in their early stages, while energy is still free flowing and in motion, rather than have it change form to matter and present as a serious lifestyle issue or disease, and so make a greater impact.
