I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in making positive changes in their life.
I have the privilege of knowing Dr. Hepker. He is an extremely intelligent and amazing man and definitely portrays his beliefs in this book in his daily life!
Great job, Glen!
This book is a reminder to the weary traveler that the journey of life is best experienced one step at a time. In a world were we are constantly struggling to get to the next thing, we often forget to appreciate the here and now. Dr. Hepker's book is, as the title states, a glimpse of something better that is within the reach of any individual who is willing to let go of the baggage that weighs him down so that he might rise to meet it.
This book is powerful, thought provoking and can help you change for the better.
Body, spirit, mind, health, emotions all create a circle and affect everything else. This book should be
approached as fine dinning, taking your time - savoring - enjoying. Well written, helpful on multiple levels.
I enjoyed A GLIMPSE OF HEAVEN. I can recommend it to you for self help, physical, spiritual and otherwise.
You will look inside yourself when you read this.
This is an excellent book for those who are serious about up-leveling their health, wellbeing and experience of life at deeper levels. A Glimpse of Heaven is an insightful set of theories and steps for people who are courageous enough to own the responsibility for improving their state of emotional, physical and spiritual health. I love how Dr. Hepker positions “life as an art” (there’s always room for improvement - deeper insight) and encourages taking “True Responsibility for our own health and wellbeing.” Common sense, but sadly not commonly practiced or embraced by so many.
I completely agree with Dr. Hepker’s points referring to dishonesty as a disease. We do ourselves and others a great dis-service by not being compassionate, empathetic and honest. If we all embraced and exhibited those qualities it would be so obvious how much more alike we are than different! Being hypocritical and judgmental divides us from each other and keeps us divided from our true selves and our Source.
“Doing the right thing for the right sake” is also one of my favorite sentiments in this book. We can make things very complicated so as to use complication as an excuse for being dishonest or exhibiting bad behavior. But it’s not complicated to do the right thing if you decide that is the kind of person you are - one who does the right thing simply because it is the right thing to do, whether or not there’s an apparent benefit to you.
I believe that if you embrace and practice Dr. Hepker’s philosophy of “True Health” you will indeed experience a Glimpse of Heaven!
