This is nice large lamp and I bought the smokeless paraffin lamp oil to go with it. They recommend you fill it up 3/4 way, and it lasts a few days without refilling it. The length of time it burns depends on how high/low you set the cotton wick.

Cheap construction. Doubtful safety

Quite a cheaply constructed lamp. The base of the lamp wouldn't fit, and was tilted. Tried everything to fix it (including fixes here), just not worth your time or safety.

Just get something else.

Oil lamp arrived assembled incorrectly

I ordered two and got two. One unit came assembled incorrectly. The metal base was incorrectly assembled: the metal tabs on the base bottom were bent over without first going through the slots in the top piece. Rather than trying to correct the problem and risking breaking the tabs, I am returning the problem unit.
