However, I wish "beautiful" were not first word used to describe girls. Also, I don't like how one baby is lying on a very uncomfortable looking cat- it does not teach respect for animals/others. Also, the photo quality is not great- it's better than some other baby books, but the photos could be sharper.
The photos are bright and colorful. Each baby is unique and beautiful. Special attention has been paid to really capturing the baby's faces. Babies love looking at other babies! Many counties and ethnicity are represented, every baby will find another who looks just like them.
I bought this so she could see a few new faces, and also because I love the message--girls are important. I know that's easy to swallow in the U.S. of A., but there are still some crazy places out there where girls are second-rate. Let's keep fighting the fight until we're all treated with respect. Great idea, beautiful babies.
