Honest review of Glocusent LED Neck Reading Light, Book Light for Reading in Bed, 3 Colors, 6 Brightness Levels, Bendable Arms, Rechargeable, Long Lasting, Perfect for Reading, Knitting, Camping, Repairing @ $19.79 at time of order, now showing on sale for $21.99, from $29.99.This was ordered to help facilitate the reading of my Bible. The lighting in my home is not set up all that well, plus I am getting older and it’s more difficult to see and see in dimmer lighting. I was using a headlamp and that was obviously not very comfortable for any length of time.Likes:These are comfortable, very lightweight, and I can barely detect that I am wearing them.Although it hasn’t made a big difference to me thus far, these have a sort of padded (felt covered) area that would touch the nape.There are numerous lighting adjustments, and each arm can be adjusted individually or just using the light of one of the arms. Each arm has its own on/off switch. These have 3 Color & 6 Brightness Adjustments (3 useful color temperature modes: yellow(3000K), warm white(4000K) and cool white(6000K). Each head owns an independent switch for 3 brightness levels dimmable).The arms are flexible and adjustable for positioning the light(s) as desired.These are rechargeable LED lights and use a common USB-C plug type.I can now easily see to read no matter the ambient lighting (photos depict various light settings and 1 photo shows my darkened room with only the TV on across the room about 12 feet away. The photos do not depict the 3 different color temperature settings: only the cool white).I could read in the dark and not bother anyone else in the room.Operations of this device are simple and straightforward.These will be handy for other close up work that I do sometimes.Dislikes:None so far.Meh:When seated and these are hanging around my neck, I found it slightly difficult to obtain what I felt was the perfect position of these arms. They are flexible, but I found it difficult to put them in just the right angle for me. Having said this, they were adequate for my reading needs.These are quite portable, but you’re not going to be able to just fold the arms up completely, although they do fold up enough for most packing needs.Price is up and down like a yoyo.Hopefully this honest review helps someone decide about this product.
