About Gloire Ndongala
Gloire Emmanuel Ndongala was born in the Capital of Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa. When he was a child, the tyrant Mobutu came after his family to kill them. By the grace of God, they all escaped and came to America. At the age of 14, his father abandoned his family and he was taken in by a Hispanic family in Colorado, the Lucero's. Overcoming all these odds, Gloire managed to make it through college graduating with Bachelors in Church Ministries (Leadership), an Associates in Psychology, and an Associates of Arts in Bible. He is married to his lovely wife, Katie, and has two children: Dóxa (son) and Penayel (daughter).

A Roaring Lion, an Angel of Light

Wow, wow!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s all I can say about this new book.
To understand the modern days of the schemes that the enemy is using, it takes real prophetic understanding. This book is written for such a time like today, in order to enlighten prayer warriors how to be in a perfect position to fight effectively. While reading the manuscript, I felt the need to reposition myself as a warrior. If you really want to have a clear understanding of how the enemy is scheming the whole world today, believe me, you truly need to read this book and it’s a must.

A soldier waits expectantly and prepares diligently for the day when they are called to fight. A Roaring Lion, an Angel of Light has arrived and Apostle Glorie has given us a detailed battle plan straight from the throne room of our King. He has identified our enemy’s strengths and weaknesses, broken down our adversary’s battle plan, and done so in a way that opens our spiritual eyes to the unseen world we are currently facing. No matter what point you find yourself in the raging spiritual battle, this book will be your arms bearer walking by your side until the end. The book shifts gears a couple times launching you forward, deeper and deeper into the battle. The final chapter was as unique as it was powerful. What a perfect book for the day and times we live in! If you desire to win the spiritual battle coming your way, then this book is your ticket!

Eye opening! Gloire Ndongala has really grasped what is happening in our country and the world today. We are in an increasingly intense spiritual battle with loud voices of deception on every side. Gloire’s book effectively helps us to identify the tactics of the enemy of our souls so that we are better able to resist him and separate truth from error.

With every book Gloire writes, I learn and grow. This book was no different. Gloire has never been afraid to speak God’s truth, even if it is not popular among Christians. Crazy right? That Christians would disagree with God’s truth? That is exactly what this book dives into. The enemy knows exactly how to pervert the truth and make us become part of this world when that is the exact opposite of what God has called us to be. This book might offend you, but it will convict you, humble you, and bring you closer to God in order to stand firm against the enemy! LISTEN CHURCH!

"This book is God-inspired and riddled with scripture to back up the revelation of His word. Gloire Ndongala weaves in meaningful stories that have led him to the insight given in the text. There are "aha", humor, and "real talk" moments that keep you wanting to read more. It is a great tool to use, especially now, to remind us how to navigate the enemy with the Word of God through this extremely fluid time."

My dear friend and former student, Gloire Emmanual Ndongala, has written a book which challenges the weak and seemingly faltering American church to “grow up.” His insights are provocative and his challenge is stinging at times, yet hopeful. I highly recommend this text to all my fellow ministers, church leaders, and any follower of Jesus who longs to push past the ‘growing pains’ in order to develop the spiritual muscle required for last days spiritual conflict.

Gloire Ndongala has written a book that will certainly awaken the sleeping church. As a church, we say that we believe the Bible but we are yet to expect the God of the early Church to do through us what He did through the early disciples and more. Gloire did not just write another book, he has put on paper the fire that burns within him about the Lord and His endless power and love.

As a musician, preacher, and personal trainer I believe more than ever that God is on the brink of sending another move of His Spirit as in the days of historical revivals past. In the same breath, I say that this move will not last without a mature church to steward it. I have known my dear friend Gloire for a decade now, and his consistent passion, hunger, and zeal to see a bride that’s compatible with Jesus on all levels and is ready for the return of Jesus is far above the status quo. This book will cause you to acknowledge our current lack in the church in the knowledge of God, but I believe it will also stir a hunger after truth and righteousness. We want to be a church made ready and able to maturely steward the presence of God in a greater measure. May this book stir, convict, and encourage you and the generations to come to “grow up” and be all that God intended His church to be.

Reading Grow Up Church is like gaining a glimpse into how the early church functioned. It sheds light on the miraculous deeds of the body of Christ that have been forgotten. For those seeking to return to the simplicity of the body of Christ and discover the complexity of our God, this book is a must. The truths that have been ignored and long since forgotten will be returned to those who seek them. If you are seeking truth, your purpose in this life and how you fit in the body of Christ, this book is for you. I was personally challenged and convicted by this book which brought forth in me new kindling of my faith in Christ and affirmation of who I am in Christ.

I received an advance copy of Grow Up, Church and said to myself, "Finally, someone who speaks the truth as it was meant to be said!" We live in an era where Scripture is twisted into false radical ideologies. Churches are too afraid to offend or they twist the Word to fit what they want in their church, rather than what God has called the church to be. Gloire Emmanuel Ndongala dives into the truth of Scripture, as we should, and studies the gifts we have all been given by God. It is a book that will help you discover your gifts and how they can be used effectively based on SCRIPTURE! It is from the wisdom of God, not the knowledge of this world, that Gloire Emmanuel Ndongala can effectively call the church to GROW UP!
