Unfortunately, I could not get the Glorious O software to run properly for me. Despite having the most up to date firmware installed as well as an additional firmware that the company sent out to address this issue, I still could not get their software to detect my mouse. Any attempt to start the software would give the message "Device is disconnected". Even though I was using the mouse and it was working fine with my PC, the software thought there was no mouse connected. I went back and forth with their tech support and their final solution was to film my mouse and computer with the problem to prove it was a problem and then they'd send me a replacement. Obviously, I wasn't going to be doing that with a brand new mouse and back to Amazon it went and I promptly ordered a G Wolves Haiti.
I will say, it is a shame, because the Glorious O Model D felt really nice and worked terrific. But, with no way to customize the DPI and RGB, it makes the whole package less impressive.
The mouse itself consists of a matte white shell with the iconic honeycomb cutout design that has become popular with gaming mice over the last few years. The mouse has the standard left and right buttons, a notched scroll wheel, a dpi switch beneath the scroll wheel, and two thumb-accessible buttons mounted on the left side. The shell is a common ergonomic shape designed exclusively for right-handed users. Attached to the mouse is a very lightweight 6.5 ft braided USB cable. The bottom of the mouse is home to four small PTFE feet in each corner.
On the left side of the mouse, the Glorious Odin logo is painted in grey. Glorious is also painted in grey towards the front of the right side of the mouse. Lighting strips are present on both sides of the mouse and on either side of the scroll wheel - with the logos and the LED lighting the aesthetic is decidedly not subdued. The mouse is, as advertised, as extremely lightweight yet feels mostly sturdy in the hand. There is a very minor flexing issue that I have noticed with my unit, and it may been simply a defect with this unit, in the left side of the mouse; I can articulate a clicking sound by applying pressure with my thumb. This issue is not severe but is noticeable and worth mentioning. It's for this lack of quality control that I'm dinging a star from this review.
The left and right clicks are both Omron 20-million rated switches and articulate crisply and consistently, with no wobble, with every press. The side buttons are similarly responsive and are a refreshing change from the mushy, indeterminate side buttons found on other gaming mice. The scroll wheel scrolls freely and doesn't have as much resistance as the venerable Titan scroll found on Roccat mice, but is well-constructed and does not have any left or right play. The scroll wheel click is firm yet easy to use without any fatigue. Another incredibly small thing to note is that the DPI indicator is located on the _bottom_ of the mouse, meaning you'll need to flip the mouse over to see the currently active DPI setting. This isn't much of an issue for me, as I can tell the current DPI just by moving the cursor, but it may be a mild annoyance to some users.
The cable is an excellent braided 6.5 ft USB, dubbed 'Ascended' by Glorious, that has proven resistant to tangling or wear so far. It routes easily through my cable management and naturally fits perfectly in a Glorious mouse bungee. The PTFE feet slide smoothly across my Cordura mouse mat with no fuss; I've opted to include the extra feet for a larger skating surface - this is largely a matter of personal taste and some users may find it to be too slippery, but it's nice to have the option.
The Model D software is a refreshing change from the bloated user software found with Corsair, Logitech, Roccat, and Razer. It's a very lightweight application within which you can change your DPI stages, the lighting schemes on the mouse, liftoff distance, and debounce time. Best of all, if you're anti-software you can save your settings and uninstall the software completely; everything is saved onboard the mouse itself when you're finished.
In all, I think that this mouse is great. It's been extremely comfortable through hours of rigorous use. The build quality is mostly superb and it's priced competitively in a world where gaming mice are regularly topping $100 now. While it may look a little bit flashy for some folks, it's a real joy to use and it's not burdened with senseless software or unnecessary extras. Some MMO and MOBA players may find it a little lacking in button real estate, but I've found it to be a great companion across multiple genres of games.
I hope that Glorious can institute a little bit better quality control in future shipments; the flexing issue was pretty disappointing and is a very small mar on what's otherwise become my absolute favorite gaming mouse. With that issue noted, I'd still encourage anyone to give this mouse a try - I don't think that you'll be disappointed.

Pro :
- I like the shape, and it was kind of similar to my Zowie
- Very light, with a stylish design
- Lambda software to adjust your DPI and color
Con :
- The quality seems to be pretty bad. After only 1 week of use, the DPI button is already defective ! The price is not really cheap, so I expected something definitely better.

Edit 2: The replacement looks like an older version (with blue skates and the non-ascended cable), I'll update if this one squeaks too.
Grip/Ergonomics:
As someone with large hands (just over 20x10cm) who used a G502 Proteus (absolutely fantastic mouse), the Model D transitions seamlessly over and fits my hand like a glove, the mouse fills almost my entire palm (which I did not think was possible) and the hump of the mouse is even more ergonomic than the G502. There is also ample space to rest your thumb on the side of the mouse, whilst simultaneously keeping the side buttons in reach. I went with the matt white finish as I'm not a fan of the reduced grip glossy texture offers (and finger prints), and the weight reduction cutouts are also practically invisible in terms of touch. I should also mention the weight of the mouse, of course it was a bit of an adjustment initially coming from the much heavier G502 (no weights), but it is very light and transforms flicks and fast turns (for a low sens player) into a much more natural motion and not an arm workout compared to the G502 lol. Finally, the mouse skates are a great improvement over the G502, and those were very solid, so that says a lot. The mouse glides effortlessly over my QCK Heavy. Its gonna take a bit for me to stop swiping my mouse like im trying to scrub the desk, but thats what years of using a heavy mouse does to you lol.
Sensor/Buttons:
The sensor is top notch right up there with the G502's. As for the m1 and m2 buttons, there is a very very slight travel before the mouse clicks register compared to the G502 (I'm talking like 1/3 of a mm) but after using it for as little as an hour, I got completely used to it and overall the buttons feel clicky and crisp just like the G502. The scroll wheel however is very comfortable and wayyy better than the G502's metallic mess (the biggest flaw of that mouse imo) and responsive, but not so much that you would accidentally hit the wheel while clicking. There is no squeaking and the rubber ring offers great grip. The side buttons are clicky and responsive too and are placed in a easy to reach position, I had no issues discerning the two buttons/hitting both at the same time etc. One thing to note however is that this mouse has less buttons than the G502, so if you NEED ALL of the ones on your G502, then this is something to bear in mind. On the Model D, there is no 3rd side button, no extra two buttons on the edge of mouse1, and also the scroll wheel does not tilt and click left and right. As a CSGO player, I have no issues, as the mouse offers pretty much the standard amount of buttons that you need, keeping it simple and effective.
Cable/Cord:
I was sceptical about the Ascended cable at first thinking it to be just a gimmick, but holy crap the cable feels durable yet lightweight, fluid, and flexible. It really does feel like there is no cord, giving an almost wireless feeling. I was considering getting a mouse bungee for my G502, but now with the Model D, that's not needed. The cable lies flat on my desk and flexes unnoticeably when swiping the mouse, unlike the G502's which was way more rigid and heavy, and swiping would sometimes cause it to push it self off the edge of my desk, driving me insane. I'd recommend keeping the cable away from sharp edges however as I think the threads on the cable could tear/fray.
Lighting/Build Quality:
The RGB lighting is bright and vibrant. As for the build quality, the mouse feels sturdy and well built, despite its fragile-looking appearance. The mouse buttons on mine, don't flex or wobble, so I'm satisfied in terms of durability.
Conclusion:
Overall I think this mouse is a fantastic upgrade from the G502, just note that the drastic change in mouse weight will take some getting used to. The price (£53) I paid feels fair for the quality of the product, and most importantly, the ergonomic shape and perfect fit for my large hands. Props to Glorious for listening to the target audience and actually offering features that are wanted, without all the gimmicky list of "extra features" that are often used to charge more.

Pros:
Ergo Shape
Lightweight
Decent enough build quality in terms of shell flex
Vivid RGB (If you're into that)
Amazing paracord cable which makes it feel wireless
Really good stock feet almost comparable to hyperglides.
Cons:
The Glorious Model D in comparison with the GPro and RVU still does have it's issues. Mine came with a sticky left mouse button (LMB) as well as both LMB and RMB were loose which is inherent of the split trigger design. Rather than dealing with another return I just decided to sort the issues myself. Sticky LMB was a result of adhesive where the switch meets the button, and was easily dealt with by cleaning using a cotton bud and nail polish remover. The loose LMB and RMB were sorted by inserting small folder up pieces of paper between as seen in the image.
Not exactly what you want to do with an out of the box product, however due to the price point the issues are easier to live with than the more expensive GPro and RVU. Take from this review what you will.
