This album is just jaw-droppingly beautiful! Yes, it is pricey, but hey, it can't be cheap to hire the London Symphony Orchestra. Add in the countless hours--months--of time to compose a symphony, and this turns out to be a great buy!

First, there is nothing that compares to a symphony featuring piano. Glory has a joyful sound throughout, and it provides an uplifting background for whatever I'm doing. If I were taking a cross-country trip and could only take one CD with me, this would be the one.

Michael W. Smith has turned his composing/singing talents in a new direction with this beautiful opus. No words, just a beautiful, joyous symphony ending with his inspiring "Agnus Dei" (Alleluia, for the Lord God Almighty reigns.)

I can't say enough good things about this album. I play it nearly daily, and it never ceases to uplift my spirit. To God be the glory!

I got 'Freedom' as a Christmas gift, and fell in love!!! So, I bought 'Glory' for myself as a birthday present and I'm in love, again!!! MWS's music is awe-inspiring. As a Christian, you can't help but get lost in the majesty, power and wonder of God. I love all MWS's songs but I almost think that his instrumental cds point me more toward God. You get to supply the words and/or prayers yourself, in whatever direction your heart is going at that moment. His songs lift you up and inspire you to keep pressing onward toward the goal of Eternal Life with Jesus Christ.
Both his instrumental cd's play like a HUGE movie soundtrack (Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings), but better!!! And, if you are an advanced or aspiring pianist, as I am, check out the piano solo sheet music books of both 'Freedom' & 'Glory'. The massive orchestra arrangements translate quite well onto the piano, MWS has such a God-given talent in composition!!!! You'll LOVE getting to play this songs and pour all your passion into them as well!!!

What a gorgeous album!
It is lovely to play both as background music as well as for worship.
I truly enjoy instrumental Christian music/hymns-but sometimes I find myself singing/humming with the score [which is awesome when I need to meditate in praise]...but when I know the lyrics I cannot fully concentrate on my work, on a conversation, etc.....thus, this is wonderful to have in my library of music.
If I could, I would give every family member and friend I know this as a gift.
Very calming-while simultaneously, it takes my breath away.

I would give the same review to "FREEDOM"-another one of Michael W. Smith's "wordless--and wordlessly amazing" CD's.
(FREEDOM does have beautiful patriotic undertones in some of the songs-that would be the only difference).

Michael W. Smith redeemed himself in my opinion by creating both this cd and freedom. I grew up listening to freedom and was happy to see that he made another instrumental album. I would recommend this album on one condition - if you don't have freedom buy that one first - it's better. This one is still worth the money though!

I saw MJS in concert last week with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. The show was amazing! Anyhow, when he would intro pieces from "Glory", he would start to say, "This is my favorite...", but then he would say they're all his favorites. After listening to the album, I now understand where he was coming from. Excellent, excellent compositions. I have never loved an entire album of instrumentals as much as I love this. In fact, I love it so much, I'm going to buy some more copies for family and friends.
