The best part about this book is that the recipes are easy to follow. They don't have too many ingredients and neither do they have a long and complicated procedure. And while finding protein powders and almond milk is a little tough for me in India, I plan to use other local ingredients to bring an Indian twist to the recipes.
A few recipes I am really impressed by are Cauliflower Dirty Rice, Cauliflower Fried Rice and the Zucchini Ravioli. The recipes are accompanied by delicious photographs which make you want to try them out immediately. The lettuce wraps made me salivate! I didn't know gluten free could also be yummy.
What I learnt reading through this book is how healthy cooking can suit all sort of taste buds. And I am eager to experiment. I am a huge rice eater but trying out different recipes is fun and I will definitely be making those dips and sides for my family soon enough!
