Top customer reviews
The product came in a huge box and was fairly easy to assemble. It look less than 30 minutes to put together and when it was finally set, Nala immediately took a liking to it and started playing with the little mices hanging form the platforms. While the carpet/faux fur material is extremely soft, it does not seem like it will last a long time. The same goes for the ropes. I'm sure when the time comes, I'll just simply rip out the old ropes and replace it with new ones.
I took off two stars because the product arrived damaged. The middle box house is made out of cardboard and was ripped on both sides of the arches. It's still pretty stable and is still holding up, but the packaging should be taken more into consideration. To recap, here are some of the pros and cons that I would like to note:
* Easy to set up
* Instruction manual / nail sizes were very clear
* Strong base
* Product arrived damaged
Overall, this product is NALA-APPROVED, but be aware that because of how fragile the box house is, there is a possibility that it will arrive damaged like mine.
Update: I have returned the last one and received a brand new replacement. It arrived in mint condition and like before, Nala has been glued to it.

Assembly was straight foward taking less than 1/2 hour. I suggest putting the 3 lower posts on first, then attach the house to the rectangular platform and place on and secure to 3 posts. The front, lower round platform attaches with a double-screw to lower front post and the rear (higher) round platform attaches with a screw through the top of housing platform. Finally, attach the stairs with the angled connector to the bottom of the house and the screw hole on the back of the stairs.
Overall, this is a very nice cat tree...Minor shortcomings are the platforms are a bit small, the carpet is rather cheap and the (particle board) wood is light-weight. When assembled securely, it should withstand the most playful felines...No lions or tigers!
The pictures demonstrate human error damage. (No, our tiny tabby isn't fat enough to cause that lol) The poles to the platform snapped off because I was playing with my cat. I knew I didn't put that much weight on it but was enough to snap both poles off. The construction is WEAK. This would be my only complaint.
