Go Wild is a great combination of both. They cover the science more than adequately, but garnish it throughout with anecdotes and stories of real people who've taken on the lifestyle they promote and some of the changes they've seen in their lives. And they finish the book with their own stories of how they attack the Go Wild lifestyle and give pointed advice on how we might start. Highly recommended. Read this book!
Oddly enough it is a page turner as well. Everything makes so much sense, it is like they give you the key to the puzzle that's been right in front of you for years...
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about reversing the negative effects of, essentially, the "domestication" of humans...
