If you're looking for thick padding to prevent callouses, these are not the right gloves for you. These are thin and lightweight, but I love them for their minimal profile. I use them when I need to protect my hands and actually not for weights, specifically when doing elevated push-ups on a step to prevent painful indentations in my palms. I actually think that these gloves are best for general gym hand protection - not for prevention of callouses.
I purchased two sizes, a medium and a large. I typically wear a M in gloves with my 7.5" palm measurement. The M fit perfectly although the sizing chart on the Go Fit website would suggest otherwise and recommend a large (way too baggy). The tab on the middle finger makes them easy to remove without turning the glove inside out. I would still be careful when taking off the glove since the synthetic leather isn't the strongest material out there. I have also noticed that the synthetic leather part has pilled a bit in areas that have seem more wear. (Pilling is where the fabric surface isn't smooth and little "balls" appear on it.)
I really like the stretch breathable top and the terry cloth on the thumb. It's good for wiping some sweat off the brow, but let's be real: it isn't going to do the job of a hand towel.
Additionally, the grey ones that come with the CD are the same as the pink ones; just different colors and packaging. I personally like the grey color scheme better!Read more ›
All in all I believe it's a good glove and does what it's supposed to for lightweight, low intensity bar/lifting use, but with higher intensity activities like CrossFit or for serious weightlifting, I would choose something a bit sturdier.

Its very comfortable to wear and fit petite hands. I use it everytime I lift weight and is sturdy. Haven't fallen apart yet and I've had it for almost a year.Published on June 27, 2014 by Lai Saephan
There is hardly any padding so they are not sufficient for heavy lifting. I used them once and still got a callous.Published on November 25, 2013 by Dana D
These gloves are great. I like how soft they are. My hands have not hurt from lifting barbells since I've had them. The gray/pink is cool, too.Published on March 25, 2012 by pattisue
I have used these gloves for working out but mostly I use them for riding my bike now. Still going strong after two years! Still love the terry thumbs... Read morePublished on July 26, 2010 by ENVYGRL8
