Good quality, as expected from modern GoPro accessories. I would advise extreme caution when it comes to attaching these to a surface that hasn't been Windex pre-cleaned, or in an extremely hot & cold environment.

The only mount failure I've encountered has been in those situations, as the cold ended up freezing the 3M adhesive, as opposed to letting it mold to the surface itself. In heat, the black material absorbed too much sunlight, softening the adhesive. With a proper metal wire backup, you won't be in danger of losing your camera itself, because when it comes to a $200+ piece of equipment, it should never be trusted to a single anchor point.

As expected, these are just like the ones that come with the Gopro when first purchased. They use 3M tape, and I know that 3M is the industry leader in adhesion. Anyways, I used these on my Suzuki V-Strom Happy Trail Panniers for multiple view angles while traveling the local Fire roads. Even when things get really rough (including dropping the bike) I've never had any of these mounts budge.

Got a pack of these for a trip I took to the Dunes in Oklahoma, and they worked great. I did lose have two of them come unstuck from two different helmets, but in both cases it was because that helmet was involved in a wreck. If you have a Go Pro got some of these.

This product is NOT "GoPro" brand as it indicates. I was fooled by the higher price being charged than other options and the fact that it specifically says "by GoPro" under the item description. I'm more than happy to pay a higher price to make sure its a mount that isn't going to let my camera go bouncing down the hill! These mounts are inferior to true GoPro brand mounts (see pic). I'm also surprised by the high number of positive reviews because these are clearly inferior. Buyer beware - my order is going back.

These are great for what I use them for: Snowboarding-Helmet Cam, Remote Controlled Cars/trucks/boats, etc. Stick very well and if you don't want to buy new 3M adhesive they mount very good with Shoo Goo as well.

I bought two of the GoPro HD Hero cameras, and they came with these mounts. I love the cameras, and have started to go through these mounts. At first I was a little nervous about sticking these to surfaces, thinking that they may come off, but they really hold on.

I suppose that you can try and remove them, but after putting one on the wing-tip of my friend's plane, I cannot remove it, as the shot was SO GOOD that we will use it again and again. As I said, they really hold on, I thought that it might fall off as he did a full aerobatic routine with it, but no, it returned safe and sound.

Thus I am starting to run out of mounts, if you stick them on every place you could use them, then suddenly, you need more! As these cameras are so versatile, and so easy to put everywhere, you will need to have spares.
