GoSafe260 GS260-US GoSafe 260 Full HD 1080P Rear-view Mirror Mount Dashcam with 2.7" Display (Black)
- Make sure this fits by entering your model number.
- Record Full HD 1080P high resolution video with loop recording. Turns on automatically when car engine is on.
- 2.7" large display can be switched off while driving. The feature of Zoom +/- allows the driver to zoom in or out for capturing footage of a car's license plate.
- While driving on the road, it happens that somebody’s headlights are excessively bright, creating an awful glare in your rear view mirror. This situation could be annoying for you and could be extremely dangerous. The GoSafe 260 comes with a mirror that automatically filters the extra bright beams of a car's headlights behind you. The mirror tends to have a darker grayish appearance than most stock rearview mirrors and you may need some time to get used to it, the benefit is that it detects bright light and automatically dims the reflection. Please note that objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.
- Enlarged mirror surface gives drivers better viewing angle of the rear.
- Motion Detection Mode: When parked, the device will detect motion and start to record video.

The GoSafe 260 is perfect for the individual that would rather use a rearview mirror and dash cam combination in place of their car's rearview mirror. The vivid results along with the crystal, clear capture rate of this is astounding. Clipping it on to your car's stock rearview mirror is seamlessly done with amazing results. The 2.7" screen captures a wide range with stunning quality. With an anti-glare mirror you will avoid any obtrusive lighting from the cars behind you and stay safer on the road.

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
As stated earlier, this worked great for about 2 weeks then sound quit working, then after 2 months the video stopped also. I wrote a scathing review due to these problems. My daughter who was the recipient of this Christmas present emailed this company and even though it took a couple weeks, they did reply with a resolution to the problem.
Very simply they had her reformat the sd card. I assume the dashcam must install a hidden file when it does that because now my daughter texted me and said it works like new again. So my bad review was solely reliant upon an sd card that somehow stopped working not the dashcam.
I would like to point this out to anyone having problems with this dashcam. REFORMAT YOUR SD CARD before sending in a complaint to the company.
Original review: I purchased this as a christmas present to my daughter, just what she wanted, excellent video, hooked up great, but after about a week or so the audio stopped working. Now just a week or 2 after the return time Amazon allows the video stopped working. Without audio or video this thing really isn't worth much.
I tried resetting with the reset button, even held it for over half a minute to be sure.
I switched to a different micro sd card to be sure that wasn't the problem. it comes up on the card with a black 1 second recording then shows not recorded correctly.
So, I tried sending a notice to the company before giving a bad review here hoping they would have some kind of fix or even the remote possiblity that they would replace it. lol after writing the review when I would hit the send button a message kept coming up saying did not send. so I do not know if I can report a problem with them.
Be careful with this one, mine is not the first one I saw on here with about the same problem, but I figured the odds are in my favor.
I do not work with or have a relationship with this company or any competitors and never have, so I have no prejudism either for or against this item.
Good luck if you decide to purchase, it appears many have bought this and it has worked well for them, unless they are mostly fake reviews. :)
This is a very good camera. Video quality is excellent. Some people are expecting to read license plates 20 feet away with dash cams. That simply isn't going to happen, not even with your phones camera most likely. This thing actually records in a high resolution, unlike other so called "HD" dash cams. The plastic case is strong and won't warp in heat. I had the Mini 0803 camera before this and the plastic basically lost it's shape on the first day it got above 85 degrees out because it's cheap.
Viewing files is easy, just plug in the camera or micro SD card and it'll auto play in your default media player. If I could have one more feature on this, it would be a GPS record. I would gladly pay a little more money for that, as long as the form factor isn't bigger. I honestly turned off the majority of the features, like notifications for turning on your lights or when the car in front of you moves. They would be more annoying than helpful in my case.
I did initially have a problem with this device though. It wouldn't auto start when the car started. I contacted PapaGo support and they had me ship the device to them and determined the power cord was bad. I got it back with the replacement within the same week and it's working great now. It's good to know there's U.S. based support.
Update: after 6 months this guy is still going strong. Recorded a wreck that happened in front of me. Everyone who watched it was amazed at the video quality. This has held up in really cold conditions also. You really can't go wrong with this. It's very relieving to not always be searching for a better dash cam. This one does the job very well.
