Bought this ladder golf set for a Memorial Weekend beach party, great change of pace to cornhole.
What's in the box:
Color coordinated pvc frames: all the joints are red or blue, so it's easy to avoid confusion if you use a little common sense. These pvc pipes are really thick, I'm confident they hold up to wear and sun.
3x red and 3x blue pairs of ladder golf balls. These are real golf balls attached with nylon rope, light and easy to throw.
1x crappy bag. This bag came with a tear before I even opened the box and tears with any pressure.
1x much better bag. Appears that the vendor listened to all the complaints and actually sends a second bag that is much better material than what the game is packaged in.
I'm really happy with this set, took off one star cause of the poor workmanship of the initial bag.

While this is a fun game, we were quite disappointed that the plastic targets (scoring rungs/horizontal rods) cracked and broke apart when hit by the golf balls. These targets are going to be walloped, isn't that the point of the game? So why aren't they robust enough to withstand the impact? I'll be contacting the supplier to see if they'll replace the damaged rungs (2 of the 6) and maybe throw in a few extras as future replacements.

Just received this in the mail,...while I have not actually used it yet, I did put it together and am very happy with the ease of putting it together, as well as the quality. I am more of a visual person, so I used the picture from amazon as a guide to put it together. One of the main reasons I purchased this particular one is because this company clearly cares about their customers!! I realize that not every unit will be perfect (so far no issues with mine), but if you look at the reviews, GoSports actually stands by their product and will help their customers should an issue ever arise. That is what every company should do, but not always the case!! I will post further once I actually use it, but so far....extremely happy!!!

I bought this set because I was afraid my old set that I've had for 3 years might not last another year. This one looked like it was sturdier and would hold up well. One of the ladder rungs shattered not even an hour into playing with it. Looking closer every single one of the rungs is cracked or damaged. We played with my 3 year old set the rest of the evening and it still has not broken. I'm extremely disappointed in this set!

This lawn game is one of my favorites! Most of our friends and neighbors play corn hole and washers so this was a nice, new addition. It's made out of thick and sturdy pvc, and it's simple and quick (5-10 minutes) to put together and disassemble if needed. I like that it comes with a bag so we can take it with us to gatherings. It also comes with directions on how to play and score the game. Perfect game to have during the summer and lots of fun!

I initially received the wrong set (not the one pictured or described). I returned that set and the company contacted me and sent me the correct set.
Once I received the correct set, it was very nice. The PVC is thicker than other sets I've purchased in the past, which I hope will make it last longer and not crack. I like how one side is color-coded blue and the other red. Also how some pieces are glued together to make assembly/disassembly quick and easy. The bolas are made with real golf balls, which feels higher quality and better weight than the cheaper rubber versions.
I do wish that the bases were weighted to be a bit heavier, as the set tends to rock around when struck by the balls, which causes it to not be straight.
But overall this is a very nice ladderball set and is higher quality than other sets I've owned/tried in the past!

Easy to set up and quick to take apart. It looks and feels a little cheap...but it is what it is. I love the little score line for each ladder...although we never used it. Kinda weird they use golf balls for the string... i mean... really? Golf balls? In the end..everyone had fun and we were playing till it was too dark to see the ladder! Wish they made it in Glow in the dark!

Having enjoyed this game at other family events, we were excited to get it. Unfortunately after a dozen or so games one of the blue plastic elbow joints lost a chunk out of it and a red one now has a large crack. We are trying to fix them with glue, but it may only be a matter of time before we see more cracks or damage. The balls that come with this set are quite hard; actual golf balls I think. Other sets I have played with use softer, more rubbery balls. Crossing our fingers that it doesn't break so much that it is not fixable.

I bought this for our 4th of July party and was very disappointed. I choose this one rather than one of the cheaper brands, due to the sellers description of higher quality. Unfortunately, one of the connector pieces for the base was missing from the set. Worse yet, one of the balls was already detached from the rope, making it unusable.
I rarely leave poor product reviews, but this one is very deserving.
