I feel I need to write a review since I requested, and received, a refund on this. I'm not certain how this book received so many 5 star reviews. There are several things wrong with it.
For starters, even if the content were good, the formatting of this book is absolutely awful. I'm fairly forgiving about self published books and formatting, especially if the content is quality. However, I find the layout of this book to be completely disrespectful to the reader. There are no margins to speak of, bullets look like they come straight out of Word, and the randomness of paragraphs makes it very difficult to read in the first place.
Second, I did try to read this even though I was so offended by the layout. The first bit is ok, where you are supposed to write out all your big, audacious goals, but after that it just deteriorates into randomness that I simply could not be bothered to follow.
I've downloaded free PDF's with better design and more useful information. Do not purchase this book.

It's a thin book more of a booklet. You can read it in one sitting. It's fairly easy to read; though it felt like a series of sequential blog posts strung together not a book. Much of the information is gleaned from author's knowledge and personal experience and he's synthesized it in the form of this book. The book has a couple of good insights and does an ok job of simplifying some concepts. I thought the quotes were insightful.
Overall, it suffers from poor editing and lack of a structured narrative - it meanders in places. The typesetting is poor, like many e-books, which makes it hard to read. My biggest issue with it is that it doesn't give you a concise set of sequential steps to take. The puzzle pieces are scattered throughout the book but the burden is on the reader to put that together. Having read quite a bit on this topic, I didn't feel like I got a lot of value.
The book needs to be revamped and restructured in a way that aligns more with the goal setting process. It needs more examples than just the author's. The books needs to be designed with type variation and structure - lots of text all in the same size makes it very hard to follow.
In general I am wary of the many flimsy ebooks that bloggers decided to self publish. Well intentioned I'm sure but a publisher would probably not publish this.

I will read a section and think, "I can do that!" or "I want to do that." The ways that Thibaut has outlined, and using the SMARTEST goal achievement method instead of the more common SMART method gets you to thinking more about what you are doing in order to reach the goal. I have lost count how much I have highlighted in this book. Pair it with the Mini-goals book by Stephen Guise (https://www.amazon.com/Mini-Habits-Smaller-Bigger-Results-dp-1494882272/dp/1494882272/) and you have a winning pair to help you achieve just about any goal you want, big or small.

I read the reviews and description of a dozen books on goalsetting before selecting this one and it was a wise choice! The book is easy to read and filled with practical suggestions. The author shares and wisdom from variety of experts on the subject as well as his own perspective. Like any professional development book, this book is only as good as you put it to use. Fortunately, he gives you a number of resources as well as a goalsetting guide you can print out and work on as you go. I would highly recommend this and really benefited from this book.

The author provides information in the book that is both informative and applicable to the needs of my organization. The book would really be a great resource for an intact team to read together and apply the practices shared in the book...it could be the catalyst as it has been for me, for the creation of an environment for leaders and teams to effectively deliver on desired goals.

I could write a long page for this review; however, it won't have , not even nearly, the impact that you'd get if you buy and listen to the book yourself. In simple words, this book is inspiring, to the point (it's a bit longer than 2 hours long) and impressive. I'm sure it will turn your life around for the better.

Advice at its best! Real to the point reading while staying interesting enough to finish the whole book. This book doesn’t disappoint! I enjoyed this book for the real encouragement and support it gives. The author gets real and shows you how to evaluate yourself, to seek out your true passions, that excite you for goal setting.

I found this book easy to read and very thorough. Though I have read a few books by authors who touched on goal setting, reading a book written just about goal setting has helped me take my goals setting to a higher level. I highly recommend this book

I really enjoyed it, very useful, particularly the insight where you study people's failures to avoid them. Work hard to achieve your goals.

Excellent for beginners to start goal setting
Reviewed in Japan on August 26, 2015Verified Purchase
The book explains comprehensive knowledge on goal setting --why setting goals is important, how it changes your life, then how to set goals including step-by-step exercises for beginners, how to make concrete plans, scheduling, pitfalls, mindset etc. etc.
After reading this book, I was encouraged to re-think my life deeply. I now feel like I can take full responsibility for my life by setting goals. Before reading this book, I tended to complain on my current situation or other people but I realized that it is because I don’t have own goals in my life. Quoting the word from the book, if you don’t have a life design plan, it means you could fall into someone else’s plan.
I would recommend to read this book if you’d like to take control of your life and take a fresh start!
