5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Worth 5 Stars
By Art Brammer on January 14, 2018
I rarely give a book 5 stars but this one is extremely helpful as well a biblical. Berg talks about how anxiety and anger are a product of unbelief that God is enough, that He is all he claims to be. He charts the course for changing our thinking in a way that will change our emotions and actions. He identifies flaws in thinking and shows how to change to alleviate anxiety, anger and despair. The last half of the book presents God in a fresh way that helps the reader love and trust God more, and in the process, quiet the disorder and anxiety in the soul. Berg is clear, practical, helpful, and encouraging. I plan to buy multiple copies of this book to share with family and friends. I've been a Christian 48 years, but still find fresh content and encouragement from this book I highly recommend it!

1.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book but had writings/highlights/markings all over it
By Amazon Customer on August 21, 2020
I really loved the book. The author did a good job of highlighting our tendency to have anxiety, worry and failure drive our thinking. The second half of the book gave tips on how to deal with those feelings from a Godly perspective. It was a big help to me.

It wold have been better if I could have bought a brand new copy because it is very distracting to have markings, highlights, underlining, notes, etc. on the pages while trying to read and understand.
