For every heart that needs to be lifted, for every soul that needs to be healed, for every mind that needs to be reminded of how God really loves and really sees us. Tammy - it was not just informative, it was transformational and may God bless you for being you and for sharing such a beautiful message with the world. Every once in the while I read a book and say, "I'd love to sit down with this author, have a cup of tea and say, and what about this part of your book, tell me more . . ." Every page touched my heart, and made me thirst for more. I was almost sad when I finished reading "The God Who Sees You", but I'll return time and again and I am sure God will send me another message with each reading. I'll be transformed to someone a little more courageous, closer to God, kinder, more truthful and less fearful.

Tammy Maltby writes with such thoughtful, beautiful words. When life is challenging, we suffer a loss, or maybe we don't understand a hurtful childhood, what we need most to remember is that we have a loving Heavenly Father that's sees us. That cares about us. That knows exactly what we are going through. Maltby writes, "And one of His greatest joys is to lavish wonderful gifts upon you and delight you with beauty. Warm sunshine. Cool breezes. The rustle of leaves and the sparkling of water and the blessing of friends and family." What a wonderful way to remind me that I have been thoughtfully created by a Creator that wants me to enjoy life. Wants me to know I am loved and thought of. Maltby writes with a real passion that God not only sees us, but delights in us and craves our relationship. Beautiful book! I will be giving this book as a gift to many friends and family.

Have you ever wondered if God sees you? Really sees you! If He sees you in the dailyness of your life. Your fears, your loneliness, your heartache... Have you felt like you wanted Him to, wished that He did but weren't quite sure or wondered why that desire to be seen was there inside you? If so, then this book is for you!

Tammy Maltby has a gift of being able to express biblical truths in a way that is so real and relateable. God DOES see you in fact He put that desire to be seen in you because He wants to fill it. As womem, we are responsible for doing so many things that go unseen in providing for our families, our friends, spouses, work... All of which can lead us to feeling forgotten. But we're not! We're seen in an intimate way by a God who loves us and Tammy does an amazing job at driving home these truths in a way that speaks life to your heart and soul. As I learned from reading this book, sometimes "the biggest miracle is just a perspective change" and if you're in need of that? This book is for you!

"The God Who Sees You" is a book for people who are feeling ignored, invisible, and forgotten by God and others. It helps people to understand that God can see them, just like Hagar shows us when she used the name "El Roi" (The God Who Sees) to describe him. This book shows readers how they can look back and see how good can/has come from their traumatic experiences and how God loves and has a special interest in people that our society sometimes writes off, such as homeless people, orphans, prisoners, and widows.

I am glad that this book pointed out that Jesus understood what it was like to feel ignored, invisible, and forgotten because this is one way that people can relate and feel closer to him when they are feeling this way. I also learned that people can be spiritually deaf, mute, blind, and crippled which can cause them not to see the needs of people that are right in front of their eyes, and that we're probably all guilty of being like this towards others at some point in our lives. Instead we need to have our ears and eyes opened and to notice and take care of people's needs (as we are nudged by the Holy Spirit to do so), and in the Biblical sense to have our hearts softened. There is a story in this book that painted this picture so vividly to me, about a homeless man that the Lord nudged someone to buy lunch for. The story that was described when she decided to be obedient almost blew my socks off.

In general, what this book taught me is that there are so many people who feel unnoticed, unwelcome, and alone. God wants us to pay attention to who is placed before us, which means that we don't need to be everything to everybody. To connect with these people and to love them the way God wants us to is the better choice instead of looking in the other direction.

"I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me." ~ God

It has taken me most of my life to get to the point where I feel love for God. There were times when I didn't feel God's presence like I do now. This book explains why God can sometimes seem to hide from us and how at other times he is intimately involved in our lives. This is a good book to read if you are struggling with the idea that God cares for you and watches over you. He knows what is best for you and takes action accordingly. I found the stories in this book to be especially touching and they might bring tears to your eyes because they are so beautiful. If you need some comfort and encouragement I can not think of a better book to read that will give you hope.
