I find this book truly uplifting, and now receive her email blogs, which are just a wonderful word of encouragement to the soul!
Her book is one of these books, which are hard to review unless the reviewer wants to argue the existence of God. Catherine Galasso-Vigorito presents her concept to live your life with Faith, Persistence, Optimism, Gratitude, Love, and Forgiveness and “God Will Do the Rest”. If you don’t get what you desired, your plan was not right for you and God had different in mind.
E.g. the author tells of how she and her husband saw a house under construction, which reminded her of a house she had seen in a magazine years earlier and had always wished for. As she and her husband pursued the purchase of this specific house, everything, which could go wrong did go wrong, till finally, they had to step away from their contract. However, not giving up on the wish for this dream home, they eventually found a vacant property close-by, where they could build their dream home.
So, what are we to learn from this? Focus on your plan, work hard, and be flexible if things don’t go the way you imagined them at first.
Catherine’s stories are too vague that anything tangible can be learned from them. For those, who seek assurance that we should believe in God, the book is a nice reminder. There is no arguing with God’s timing or plan. For readers, who seek better formulated plans and descriptions of “how-to” I recommend biographies with more detailed content.

Catherine has written for the syndicated column "A New You" for over fifteen years. In God Will Do The Rest she shares with us how she practices in everyday life the inspiring words she shares with her readers.
Not only does she share some of her own challenges, but she also shares some of her readers. Some of the stories brought tears to my eyes. They touched my heart and they uplifted and inspired me. This is a truly wonderful book!
