I purchased this antenna after trying many, many different types of antennas; powered, un-powered, dipole, etc.. This was the first antenna that has given me superb reception for analog and digital radio. I am most pleased!

I have 4 of these in my San Francisco house and it really does improve my FM reception. It does help to position it, since it is directional. And the optimum place might not be where you want it (in your rack). But once you have it in the best spot, reception is improved. I just ordered one for my parents house in the suburbs.

This FM antenna did not work in my situation. Probably too much electrical wiring in the placement area. Cheap dipole single wire antenna works at least as good. Seller did accept return and refunded in full.

Works great with my MAC 1700. Mounted it on a tripod for easy angle adjustment for difficult, distant and low power college radio. Purchasing a 2nd one for my mcintosh MR 78. Not magic, but pretty close. If there's better out there for the same money, I haven't seen it.
