I bought this to take Santa Photos at the local museum. I had been using 3 Yongnuo 560's -- 2 in a 60 inch umbrella and 1 in a 45 inch. I hated having to change the batteries half way through the day on all 3 units and then recharge 24 batteries. I replaced the 2 strobes in the 65 inch umbrella with the Godox AD360 and only needed to run it at 1/4 power. WOW -- better, more consistant light, and I did not have to worry about the recycle time (I did purchase the Y cable for faster recyle time). I did almost 500 shots that day and still had almost 3/4 charge left in the battery.
But the best part was I took it out of the box, plugged in the battery cable into the light, plugged in the remote receiver, and everything worked the first time. No playing with settings or even reading instructions. It was the best out of box experience I have had with any lighting unit.
The only negatives, and they are minor, were that it did not come with a bulb cover. The reflector worked for that, but the protective cover that is sold separately would have been a nice included part. Also, I did not like the coiled battery cable. It is probably fine for most uses, but when I had to stretch it out on a boom arm on a C-stand, it put a lot of pressure on the connection in the flash unit. I ordered a straight cable after the first day of shooting.
Now I just have to save up for a second one

I really love this light - I bought a receiver that allows for high speed sync and everything works perfectly. My only problem is that while it does come with a plastic circular diffuser (not pictured) to go around the circle part that circles the bulb, it came broken and now I can't use my gels I bought for it. It's a bit heavy and I would really recommend buying a bulb protector for $5 and some sort of case you can keep this in. It's an AMAZING light source though and I did some test shots in my home of my friend with my 50mm on my Canon 6D and even with the cheap lens which is fairly sharp, having control over the lighting means having impeccable sharpness in your photos which I'm a sucker for. All three photos are shot using the Godox AD360 as the only source of flash, with an umbrella diffuser.

Love, love, love this light!! I've been using many different lighting gear, both professional and consumer for many years, and I've found that this is my "go to" light for Strobist style street shooting. The other GREAT thing is that the battery is super long lasting. I've used this for days and haven't needed to charge it. I use it a lot for fashion and for event photography. I'm attaching an image from one of my fashion shoots to give you an example. The light is off camera being held by an assistant.
