Many adults do not have a good understanding of the doctrine of the Word of God. Sally Michael has written an easy-to-read devotional book that will help parents teach their children about the properties of Scripture. God's Word should not be intimidating. A proper knowledge of the Bible gives us hope, helps us to identify false teaching, increases our gratitude and trust in God, and results in his Word becoming more precious to us. Don't you want that for you and your family? What are you waiting for? --Aimee Byrd, Author of Housewife Theologian and Theological Fitness, Blogger, Contributor to Mortification of Spin Podcast

This study is a family devotion that is relational, interactive, understandable, theological, and applicable. Each chapter ends with a family activity to apply the truths within each chapter. It offers questions such as “What does God mean when He talks about “for the sake of my holy name”? It discusses what sin really is and how it affects our relationship with God and others. Each chapter is Gospel centered in that it displays God’s goodness, our need, the cross and our response.
It is reassuring as well as it encourages the faithfulness of God in all things that we can trust him. That God’s glory is ultimately for our good.
A special thank you P & R Publishing, and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review
I received a copy of this book from the publisher in return for a fair review.
The pictures are delightful, and I love the language and how the chapters are structured. This would be a wonderful book to read along with a young Sunday School class, or to read with a child at home. Even as an adult, I was inspired while reading it!
