With all that being said, in spite of the cute and sometimes funny moments, the plot of the story itself was very predictable and I felt like I had read it many times before. There were also just too many life altering moments condensed in only one week. But I did enjoy Jordan Marie's delivery of it, and would definitely read the following books in the series.
This is the story of 2 soul mates that met and although they sort of felt that connection didn't act any further on it as they were only teenagers at the time. But sometimes a brief encounter can stay in your memory for years before it lands back in the fore front of your mind, and this is one of those books.
These characters were well matched and the chemistry was easy to grasp through the words written and they shared a few funny one line quips that had me busting out in laughter. And yes she did lick your hand. Lol
I think what I loved most was our feisty heroine and her total mindset of she is what she is and the devil may care persona she allows to show but the hero took it in stride and could you have ever dreamed up a better soul mate for her than the one Jordan wrote? I don't think so. Peas and carrots Jenny. Peas and carrots.
Start to finish you will love this book and I am jonesing for the next book
I loves this book. I laughed, i smiled, my heart felt like it had butterfly wings. I even ugly cried. Jordan's books always have a way of getting me out of a book funk. I end up rereading her books to the point I know them word for word. They are that good. She never leaves you in a dead air situation. They flow perfectly to the point were you are just like wait its done. I can't wait for the book in this series. Jordan you have another hit on your hands. Thank you for doing what you do.
