I should have heeded the negative reviews. I still have 5-6 pairs or these socks from 8 years ago and they're still good! What I received today was the same model sock, but they're only half as thick and durable as my older socks. They are of no greater quality than cheap socks that can be bought by the bag for $12. Reviewers here warned me and I didn't listen. Now I'm looking for a different brand of socks that are as good as my old ones.

Gold Toe socks have developed a sound reputation by producing a quality product for years. These are no exception. The broad size category (Fits sizes 6 - 12/5) 1resulted in a somewhat loose fit. I wear a size 9 shoe (sometimes 9 1/2), so just about in the middle of the size chart. I fear the fit would be very loose on a much smaller foot. As for comfort and quality, I am very happy with them and plan to order more. The Tec aspect means they keep my feet quite dry and do a good job protecting against the "smelly foot" problem.

I have owned this brand of socks for over 10 years. They are hard to find in a retail setting these days, thankfully they are here on amazon now. For those reviews that claim they are too big, IGNORE those. These are almost all cotton. Cotton comes big from the factory. Wash them a few times and they fit PERFECT! I am a size 10. I am ordering more.

For size 13-15 sock: I finally found a sock that fits me and is of good quality. If you’re like me with a 4E 10 1/2 shoe size, this is the one. Average socks cut off my circulation but this one fits perfectly. I only wish they made the low-cut version In the same size because the quarter cut is a bit hot in summer.

These socks create the irration as the mild elastic is closer to ankle and it is at an angle making the socks more comfortable and not tight on my foot

I've wonder the Gold Toe line of socks for years and I got this, expecting it to go further up the calf, rather than longer in the foot. I usually buy the regular size 6 pack of Gold Toe and when they stretch out like these, I throw them away. So, essentially, I bought a three pack of new socks that ready made for me to throw away. Since it was my error and it would have cost me for return shipping and the hassle of driving to a UPS location that's a little distance from my house, I said screw it and just kept them.
