#GO3453 The bottom of the trowel is curved. You can't use this trowel for butt seams or cornerbead. The item description says that the trowel has a flat bottom, in two different places, but the manufacturer description says that it is curved. Amazon made it right and refunded my money.

Goldblatt makes quality tools; used their masonry line for over 30 years. However, they need to check their online sales department. I thought I bought a flat finishing trowel- at least that's what their Amazon listing said. I received a curved trowel. Wasn't the first time this happened to Amazon customers ,from what I see now.
Sales should meet the quality of the product.

I'm a beginner and watched plenty of Youtube to educate myself on how to traditionally tape and mud wall board. This trowel and hawk was perfect for taping. I'm ready for a 16" trowel to make the final coat on the joints a little easier. The quality is great. Would recommend to anyone.

I bought this because I saw a utube video with the hawk and trowel. This is all new me so I'm trying different tools to see what works. I found the hawk easier to use than the mud pan but the knife easier to use that the trowel.
