I ordered before from this company and when i was reading the reviews I came across someone who was complaining about iron and calcium was not as advertised in the photo anyway long story short I made my mind and ordered this molasses and it came 25% iron and 25% calcium and 380% potassium.i was very happy the product came as advertised.i send that molasses to one of my family because she was having iron problems and she’s doing great after this molasses and here we go I came to order the second one and it came on time and very well packed but it came not as advertised.iron 11% calcium 12% potassium 8%.this is why I took my time and posted an honest review.this molasses is for someone who is not doing very good and i was expecting to come as advertised.its not worth the time ore money to return the product but it’s worth the time to write a review and I hope it help others.

Most blackstrap molasses is quite bitter, but this Golden Barrel is the notable exception. It is really thick and moderately sweet with none of the usual blackstrap bitterness.

I used to buy it locally for "almost nothing" in terms of cost. There is no place locally where I can get it and I was pleased to find it on Amazon, even at a more than double what I used to pay. It is still good value for the money.

I noticed in a lot of reviews that people were freaked about that California warning on the label. Check the labels on everything: With the rules in CA being what they are, there is almost nothing that does not have that a CA warning it it anymore. If you won't use anything at all with a CA warning, you better get rid of your cell phone right away. That's my opinion on the CA warning label. It may differ from your opinion.

I was reading about blackstrap molasses and learned the unsulfured type was made from ripe sugar cane and didn’t need sulfur dioxide to keep it fresh while it ripens. It stabilizes blood sugar and can help with joint pain. It tastes wonderful in tea. It’s not very sweet (by the teaspoonful) so I add a half packet of Truvia as a sweetener. It gives tea a slightly caramel taste. It has made a difference in my blood sugar readings recently. Also, it’s nice to have on hand if you have any recipes that call for molasses. Highly recommend it.

Want a pesticide that beat all others in university studies? Add 3 tbso of this to 20% week old room temperature milk and the rest distilled water. Makes one gallon. It also sticks to the leaves because of the molasses. U can add a tbsp of coconut oil to make sure. Pests, all pests, go crazy eating this nasty stuff and because of no pancreas the acids explode their guts. I thought I had fungus gnats. Then my plants started getting spots and I was in panic. Thrips. A infestation. I used this yesterday and today everything is dead. I even saw dying soil mites and aphids and mealy bugs I had no clue I had. I am extremely paranoid about pests. I wash every plant, including the roots before I pot them up in my microbe rich coco coir. And the molasses is excellent for feeding those beneficial microbes and the milk is too. It's awesome how effective this was also very shocking. I have 100 plants. Trifecta would have cost me so much plus irs so bad for the air in my home and bad for the environment. And this stuff is MORE EFFECTIVE!!! hope I helped someone.
