Greetings, earthlings – finally received this LP
Forgive my English, being from the Sombrero Galaxy, it is obviously not my first language. The people of my planet have found this record kinda entertaining. Thanks for not sending a Mini Disk… The "hellos" were a nice touch, but it took us a while to figure out what a greeting was (the verbal version of: here's my hand, it's free of weapon, I will not kill you, now show me yours) – we don't use greetings because we don't kill each other, that's barbaric. Thanks also for the French and Dutch poetry, but again, out of context (what's a human, it has emotions, what are challenges in lives of single humans that other humans may relate to, and express in cryptically elaborate metaphors as to not be too obvious and limiting about aforementioned emotions), it's pretty meaningless to us (no offense, right?). To the representative of the West African country: you say your country is "as you know, located in West Africa, a land mass more or less shaped like a question mark", we thought Africa was the boot… oops. btw: what's a question mark, and what's a boot? Which one's the potato-shaped one then? Took us a while to flip it to 33 1/3, y'all sound so funny at 45RPM ('also took us a while to figure out what "M" stood for) be well, stop killing each other you're missing the point of life, Zorg ps: Can we just talk to the whales if we swing by? They're far less self-centered than you are. pps: pro-tip: next time don't send something that looks like food. We almost ate your message, looks too much like gold pizza.
Thank you for your feedback

hope springs eternal. Listening to the members of the UN sending greetings to whatever it may encounter, was illuminating. A time capsule that inspires.

It has a nice cover of the gold record and I thought a good bit of the content would be included. NOPE. It is about 16 minutes of people sending greetings in different languages. Then some sounds --- whales, rainstorm, trucks, etc. Then it is over. About 20 minutes, a very short
CD with no music or much of anything interesting. I should have read about it more - it is a tiny sample of the entire record. Save your money.

This is only a small part of the audio and video information on the Voyager Golden Records. Better than nothing, but I was looking for a more complete reference. A DVD with everything would be much better.

Good but short - does not include the music recorded on the Golden Record. Apparently I didn't read the description carefully enough, more's the pity. I can find the classical selections elsewhere to piece together a complete playlist, but locating the various folksongs is going to be difficult. Even so, important historical artifact and nostalgia trip for those of us who were alieve in the 70s.

I am hoping to work at NASA one day as I always wanted to work there so I could go to space. It's either that or I have to get recruited in that classified army that goes to space.

    Not at all "Nasa" related.
Unfortunately purchased right at the time that NASA (yes, an acronym that means something) released all of the recorded material on SoundCloud for free streaming.
Nothing else includes with this CD on the inside or out, just a shell selling free media.
    An absolute scam.
    Thanks.

Very important to note that although this CD entry says "[Music CD]" in the title, it does not contain the music of the Golden Record. So you may find the exact same CD much cheaper in a different entry in amazon.com (I paid $35.56 hoping for music, whereas the exact same CD in a different entry costs $15.98). There certainly is historical interest in the non-musical contents of the Golden Record, so I certainly don't mind owning this, but I took a $20 gamble for some music that didn't pay out, and figured I would just post a comment warning others not to make the same mistake. So, be warned!
